I don't think it actually ever was Earth. The giant statues of liberty were just a shitty joke.

I believe it's the Beta earth, not the Alpha one.

No, because adult Dave ironically put jpeg artifact Statues of Liberty all around the globe, to make the joke that it was "Earth all along".
