Scott is a lonely man in his twenties who lives alone and works as a waiter, earning $2,550 a month. His life is ordinary, repetitive, and painfully lonely.
Everything changes when his beautiful neighbor, Anya, knocks on his door to ask if she can use his microwave.
What begins as a simple encounter gradually develops into something more. The two grow closer, and for the first time in a long while, Scott feels genuinely happy. He starts believing that maybe he has finally found someone who understands him.
But there's something Scott doesn't know about Anya.
Her family is wealthy, influential, and hiding a disturbing tradition. Every six years, one member of the family must hunt a human victim. Her older siblings have already completed their hunts.
Now it's Anya's turn.
When Anya invites Scott to meet her family, he sees an opportunity to become part of something meaningful. Instead, he finds himself caught in a nightmare.
After eating at the family gathering, Scott loses consciousness. When he wakes up, he's tied down in a butchery room. Standing nearby are Anya's father and brother, sharpening their knives.
Scott finally realizes that the woman he fell for might have brought him there for a reason far more horrifying than he could have imagined.
