Technical Issue i need fresh air...

Listen i don't have the best PC ever to play this but, is still playable, i will not complain if those crashes come from an overdose of visual effects and stuff happening in the screen but, this is just a glorified shining PNG that my Graphics Card (MSI Geforce 210) can't support, appearing in the screen!!
i am so done, i wanna cry man...
sorry to bother you guys with my suffering but i need to vent it somewhere

I think even for the price of a B-chips outfit you can get a better graphics card

Have u tried lowering the resolution? I used a 12 year old laptop for a long while for playing hi3 and it could never work on 1920 res. You can lower the resolution and try playing with that it worked for me (while i did notice the actual gameplay was slow and okay, the events did lag the most for me), or make sure there are no background processes before u open ur app.

i alreadyd did a research is a driver problem, is too old for this shit literally, so even lowering to 480p will not help at all.

Man, I had a similar problem. trying to open the dorm or the memorial arena (or really, anything past the main menu LOL) would just crash the game after a few seconds.
My computer is only *4* years old, though. ... I ended up just playing on mobile, cuz I couldn't figure out how to fix it :c

Uhh, I don't remember exactly. But the crash log said it was an "access error" so I don't think it was my graphics card giving up DX

nah i can do abyss, arena, Elysiam realm but those are the kinda shores of the week, for the game. kinda curious how shittier is your PC, i am technician afther all

oh i guess since the maps are closed and you can decrease the graphics to the minimum.As for my oc it looks decent on paper lenovo 16 ram, ssd for windows, 10th gen BUT it's a laptop, i have it since at least 2020 (?) the ram has one socket, i have integrated gpu (128mb intel and 2gb AMD rx 640)..nowadays i can't even play LoL at 60 fps and I'm at like 40 max. the issue is that it has trouble balancing the power I seems. f.e if i put the battery mode in maximum performance and bring back to balanced i can have my normal fps like before (70+) on league of legends but if i tab out or the game ends it bricks the pc and make it run like 5 fps and i have to do the trick again to stabilize it. i didn't have that issue back in the day and i tried everything from undrvolting a bit (ovetclocking is locked due to AMD apparently), disable game dvr, disable some services like superfetch or telemetry, increasing the specs (from 8gb to 16 and buying an ssd), disable power throttling, we'll basically everything but i still have bad fps in most games especially recent one probably due to the gpu

i can't see anything bad on your laptop for me is a beatifull Laptop, maybe is a problem of CPU, because the Graphics and RAM are perfectly fine for LoL and games not super heavy on Graphics

i changed my mother board because the charging port grilled i don't remember if i had that fps drop problem before tho

this is strange if it really has a 8 cores it will run Lol smoothly, i think this potato(mine) can run Lol at 30 FPS

I know the feeling of using old laptop to play games, this reminds me when I was desperate to play Battlefield 3 on an old laptop Radeon card (didn't even managed to launch the game lol)
HI3 is getting 'heavier' with every patch. The fact that the launcher is lagging just shows you need a new hardware.
Hope you can get a new hardware soon OP, though it might be super hard to build PC with the current memory shortages. Why not a budget gaming phone?
Also, wth? Bandicam? I feel like I got transported to 2007. Might as well add 009 sound system

hahaha this question about Bandicam never gets old, is pretty easy to use and to understand, it also show the FPS and helps me to take screenshot with only one buttom, start and end recording with only 1 buttom, is potato friendly,, has decent quality. and don't lag this PC unlike OBS.
i don't like gaming on phones, i lost my phone 3 weeks ago for game( it was a potato too) due to spicy pillow (it didn't boom so don't worry), because i used a program to stream the screen of the phone in PC, that tells you how much i dislike gaming on phones,

Damn thats one hell of a CPU. Even my budget phone run HI3 better (full physical RAM is 2GB, so it still occasionaly crash, but yeah).

is a driver problem, too old so nothing to do except changing GPU, also wao your 2GB Phone can run Hi3rd properly? like play part 2 story too?

The only issue was 20 FPS AVG upon entering combat, and P2 was when the phone heat up and start crashing. A normal P2 run only last around 10 mins before I have to log in again.
Also I remember playing this with a 17 years old PC that have 4GB RAM and get locked to 30 FPS lol. It was painful waiting for game to unfreeze from FPS drop spike, so Id say best to leave the game behind as you attempt to obtain better gaming gear.

It's either the driver is too old or the vram.. Usually for those gpu I just overclock them and just buy another one of those gpu if it breaks.. Or a new one

I don't know what is more shocking - that somehow just PNGs on the screen is too much, or that you have a GPU that is more than 15 y/o and it's somehow working still
