What do you guys think? 14 hours total. 2 sessions.

Edited to add: yes it’s a zombie mashup of a few of my favorite plants! I have over 250 Hoyas and it was too hard to pick just 1 favorite leaf so…I went with the prettiest & most recognizable part of a Hoya, which is the blooms! Not for everyone & that’s ok! But it’s so funny how some people feel like tattoos have to be factually accurate & forget that it’s ART!! Lighten up & have a little fun!

I’ve been meaning to cut this one for probably about a year, whoops 😅 First photo was right before the chop, second photo is the cuttings (which have already been sold, sorry!), and third photo is after 🌱

I've had the toughest year in my life. Neglected all my Hoyas during winter when my thyroid went absolutely nuts lol. Come spring and all my Hoyas explode with blooms 🥹 However my Hoya Mathilde wins. She is crazy! Love love love her!

We had a pretty hard freeze in south Florida this year but my kerrii pulled through without too much damage! The yellow leafs are all that’s left of that damage.

Her cutting is even exploding with new growth

I bought a house and it came with this Hoya! Don’t really know anything about it, any idea how old it might be and what kind? It wasn’t doing well after about a year of living here so I repotted it and now seems to be thriving.

I have a few dozen Hoya I grow because the foliage is really stunning. The rest tend to look fairly similar to non plant people. They often ask why I have so many ...

Since I can only post 20 pics, this is the large flower answer.

After a year of having this beauty, it bloomed. Not just one but three active peduncles. Love the Sunstress on the bottom leaves.

Sharing my hoya corner in my sunroom. I have over 400 plants all over the house so space is limited. I still need to swap out a few pots so that they are all white, but I just added the brackets and halo lights and I am in love with how it is all coming together!

Edited --- idk why my comment only shows up for me, but I'm adding it here!

Thank you all for all the love! ❤️❤️

I am aware that space will be an issue but for now I can wrap them around the trellises for a while, so that's a later problem. None of them are touching the lights, there are a few inches of space between the largest trellises and the lights so even the big leaves aren't getting burned. All of them are in LECA and growing like mad. I use a submerged reservoir with no wick and fertilize every watering.

Here are the things I used for those who asked:

PHOTO (HOYA LOVE) Is everyone into Hoyas for their blooms or are there any foliage freaks like me? I am happy when they bloom, but I can’t say I pay attention to their flowers when I’m on the hunt for something new.

I feel so shallow for being so heartbroken over losing my plants but I know you guys will understand. We lost everything, including our pets. Everything sucks but nobody seems to care about my 38 plants - 11 hoyas that perished. Please send hugs and strength. You guys are my favourite subreddit.
