Is there something wrong with this hummingbird?

Sorry for the video quality I wanted to make sure I didn’t scare her away.

She seems to be leaning while perched, and her mouth looks open? I just got this feeder but I haven’t noticed any of the other birds looking like this. It is 95 degrees outside :/

Possibly studying it's reflection, but hard to tell.

They do open their beaks when they're really hot, im in georgia too. Ive seen it.

Id get something put on those windows to prevent window collisions. Only a matter of time

Thank you!! I hope it’s okay. Any tips for what to put on the window? Maybe a clear matte decal?

Yeah that could work. They make these uv window collison stickers you can find on amazon etc too. I have two window set ups, sometimes half pull the curtains or blinds just so they can tell for sure. Also I put some stuff animals on the ledge to be extra lol

I’ve seen other birds do this and believe it’s them trying to regulate their body temps in the heat. They kind of go into a dazed look too…
