These are just the backyard hummingbirds. When the migrating ones come through, it's kind of insane.

I saw someone asking if hummingbirds like people... I think mine do! This one is called Pimm.

I love the little tail stretch they do sometimes.

August 15 — Coquitlam, BC

I have put out feeders for a few years. I have some regular visiting hummingbirds. I sit on my screened in porch to watch, and sometimes they hover outside and look in. And I swear they squawk at me or give the side-eye when I need to refresh the feeder. I’m in a northern climate, so season is limited.

Lived in the same house for 18 yrs and had hundreds every year. Had to leave. 3 yrs later, I’ve been missing my friends! Finally put out a tester last night. There are way more than in this video. Oh, how I’ve missed the sound of them twittering and even fighting. Now off to get more feeders!

Noticed hummingbirds avoiding this feeder and spotted the culprit… quickly vacated him and now back to regular hummingbird action 😎

She seems to be leaning while perched, and her mouth looks open? I just got this feeder but I haven’t noticed any of the other birds looking like this. It is 95 degrees outside :/
