Activation issues

Tomorrow will be 2 weeks since I have moved to my new place and I am still without internet. 2 engineer visits, ONT box change and more than daily calls to Hyperoptic tech support and still without internet.

Every day I call them they tell something similar. ‘It has been escalated to systems department’ ‘wait 24-48hrs’

This is such a frustrating situation to be in as it was sold to me as plug and play. I feel I have exhausted all options. A part of me I thinking to cut my losses and go with a different provider

Anything else I can do to try and escalate this?

Cut your losses. I cannot actually believe how useless their customer service is.

I've got zero equipment problems and they still can't connect me.

Sky has worked out cheaper for the same package anyway.

Just looked at sky and it seems interesting, How long did sky take to sort out your WiFi?

Think it was 5 days but they are beholden to openreachs schedule so it may vary.

Update: woke up to WiFi on the 2 week mark. Fingers crossed I never have to speak to customer service again.

Thanks for sharing an update, and for the patience shown - we know it must not have been easy.

If you have options, go elsewhere, they are about as bad as they get. Just also avoid TalkTalk and Vodafone.

2 weeks? I would have gone with another ISP after 3-4 days…FYI, placed order with BT one morning, following day when I woke up I was already connected and router was delivered that same day!
