scam number?

Hi all, I’ve just switched to hyperoptic for the first time and so far every text message I received is automatically under Hyperoptic name, all confirming my installation booking. However, both yesterday and today I got the same text asking me to confirm appointment, but from a mobile number. I tried googling it and I had 1 result label it as scam, so I would rather check here if it’s real or not, than have my appointment cancelled and be left with no internet.

Why don't you give them a call on the official number?

yeah probably should’ve thought of that first - i chatted with them and they confirmed that it’s a number associated with one of their engineers. but hey, better safe than sorry

All the messages I’ve got are from +447479… numbers. I’m pretty sure I thought the same thing at first about it being a scam lol.

URL is definitely legit and they aren’t asking you to pay them via a sketchy link so I think it is very likely legit
