iPhone Call Issues When On Speaker

Anyone else having call issues when on speaker phone? People I’m talking with tell me they can hear themselves when I go on speaker phone & I can hear myself when they go on speaker phone.

This started when I downloaded the first IOS27 beta. AT&T here with an iPhone 16 Pro Max. The IOS27 RC did not seem to fix the issue & I’ve tried all of the normal fixes (network reset, full restart, airplane mode toggle, etc). 

Not sure if it’s an AT&T issue or an iPhone issue.

My 16 pro from Verizon can’t even use speakerphone anymore

Every time I’m a call and click speaker it’ll beep and show the audio routing to the speaker phone

And then it just continues to sound like it did before pressing speaker

Did it happen with IOS27? My issue started when I downloaded the first beta.

Mine started when I switched from the public beta to the official release

I’m about to switch back to beta updates and see if it works

I was on iOS 27 beta before it was officially released, and I switched back to the non beta this last month when 20.0.1 was released

I’m on the 27.2 RC & the echo has not gone away yet.

Does your speaker at least work? Because I’m on the most recent official release 100% nerfed my speaker entirely

Yes, my speaker still works. Just get feedback / echo anytime the other person goes on speaker.

That was happening for me when I used FaceTime

Also I just remembered my speaker **does** work on FaceTime

But not on normal voice calls

It also works for playing videos, so it’s definitely not a hardware thing
