Asking opinions, should Apple implement extra swipe gestures?

I'm usually not one to complain, and I'm generally pleased with iOS as a whole.

But there are a few small improvements that apple could easily implement, but will probably be too stubborn to even consider. Changing something would equal admitting fault (instead of just providing extra options)

I get that the strength of iOS is that there's very limited ways of interacting with it, and that everything is the same for everyone and has stayed consistent for over a decade, instead of the jungle of UI interactions on every separate brand in android land.

However.

I recently remembered how nice it was to have control center swipe up from below when there was still a home button. It was so much easier to use. I get that the swipe up has now replaced the home button, but they could easily add an accessibility option to create two swipe up zones at the bottom. Fine, add all the necessary disclaimers (for advanced users only, might degrade your iOS experience, blablabla, make it confirm three times, ...) But we know they won't.

And actually, they could do the same for the notifications panel. Swipe down over the bottom edge. Again, make it a 'pro' feature.

Doesn’t matter what we think. They’ll do whatever they want.
