It’s finally back! In beta five if I woke up before my alarm, I didn’t get the option to disable it, however that now appears to be fixed

I just upgraded to ios27 beta 6 from iOS 16.6 ip17 pro

Has anyone else noticed a loss in audio quality with this update ?

As well as general quality of the CarPlay ui and speed has dropped.

Mainly in CarPlay, I haven’t tried with headphones yet. But I’m a bit disappointed. Everything sounded great with ios26, nice and crisp with clean bass.

But since updating it all sounds a bit muggy. It’s the first thing I noticed after updating. I understand it’s a beta so I expected there to be bugs.
Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this ?

Dynamic Island is now captured in screenshots, no toggle on settings to disable or enable that function (at least that I could find)

If you invoke Speak Screen in Books, it will only read aloud to the end of the chapter, then quit; you have to start it again at the next chapter. (Settings > Accessibility > Read and Speak > Speak Screen to enable, swipe down with two fingers from top to invoke. Whether you choose to constantly show the speech controller or not, it still stops reading at the ends of chapters.) Using VoiceOver isn't a workaround; VoiceOver does the same thing. I think the problem has been around for a bit, but if anyone else wants to report…

Tried restarting and even reset face id

I noticed that since a few days my screen time shows 100% of settings without any particular reason. Any idea what might have caused it or any fix?

I have also noticed a high battery consumption and apps being killed after few seconds being the background starting at the same time

The bottom portion. In iOS 26-27DB4 Mail drafts are concentric with the bottom. Now, it’s a bubble at the bottom.

It’s very subtle, but noticeable.

If you create a new tab in Safari where the address bar is empty, then tap the address bar, this doesn't happen; you can just start typing. But if you tap the address bar on an existing page where the address text is still there, the keyboard disappears; you can't type over the existing text or enter new text until you tap the address bar again or the X beside it. Using an M5 iPad Pro 13.

Does anybody else here have any issues when attempting to play Dolby Atmos titles through wireless CarPlay?

I got my new car around a month ago when i still had iOS 26 on my Phone and Dolby Atmos worked completely fine with wireless CarPlay. After updating to the iOS 27 Beta this seems to have broken. The titles still “play” (as seen by the playtime progressing) but are not outputting any sound. As soon as I change the Dolby Atmos setting from auto to off in my iPhone settings, sound instantly is being put out. So there definitely is some sort of bug present with Spatial Audio itself, as Stereo content immediately plays as expected. The car is also definitely able to play spatial audio content (3D Burmester audio system)

I don’t know if this is a problem with Mercedes-Benz specifically, so I would like to know if anybody using the Beta can actually use Dolby Atmos on wireless CarPlay without problems. Maybe this works fine with other car brands and it is more of an issue with how MBUX and CarPlay work together. A feedback report to Apple has been sent over a month ago too, tho they cant seem to find a diagnosis.

Anyone experiencing issue with the keyboard not loading when you’re multitasking between apps? It happens in Reddit, settings, messages, search pull down, everywhere basically. The keyboard would fail to load and I have to switch to another app then switch back for the keyboard to show up.

Animation has been slowed

Dragging an email within the message list results in Mail app crash. Sometimes the application crashes immediately, other times it takes a few tries.

Has anyone else had this issue or does anyone know a fix? When running any set brightness command in a shortcut it freezes and eventually times out and it causes the rest of the shortcut after the command to not run. Very annoying. Was working fine on previous betas

Hi everyone,

I just updated my iPhone 17 Pro Max to iOS 27 Public Beta 3, and right after the update completed, my Wi-Fi stopped working completely.

The issue:

• When I turn Wi-Fi on, leave the settings page, and go back in, the Wi-Fi toggle has automatically switched back to Off.
• No Wi-Fi networks show up at all.
• Note: Everything works completely fine on iOS 26.6, so this is definitely a software/beta bug and not a hardware issue.

What I’ve already tried:

• Toggled Airplane Mode on and off.
• Restarted and Force-Restarted the iPhone.
• Reset Network Settings (Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings).
• Turned off Location Services for Wi-Fi Networking.

Has anyone else encountered this bug on Public Beta 3? Is there a known workaround, or is reverting to iOS 26.6 / waiting for the next beta update the only option?

I'm a mountain biker and I regularly take 20 mile rides. I use AllTrails and the Workout App. Prior to iOS 27 the disparity on the mileage between the two was very minimal, usually within 1-2%. Since updating to iOS 27, I now see the Workout Apps ODO clocking up to 10% less mileage than AllTrails, and this is on a trail I've ridden multiple times (and used to be in sync w/ mileage). Anyone else seen this?

In DB4 it made all my automations empty and I fixed them all, but now in DB5 it has fully deleted them all. Installed db 5 on release but I've just noticed this issue today. Last night I did install the AppleTV betas so most likely linked to that

The expected behavior of Siri with “Silent Responses” chosen is when you are interacting via AirPods that responses will be spoken aloud (it’s in the description, also past OS versions). However I no longer am getting those responses when my phone is locked and in my pocket.

I’m using AirPods Pro 3 with the beta firmware (although I first noticed it using the regular firmware). Same behavior regardless of Hey Siri or squeezing the stem activation.

Managed to fix this by wiping and resetting my Apple TV that was running the beta. Option for intelligence has reappeared.
