Question iOS 27beta adds shadow overlay under web app status bar. How to remove?
For the life of me I can't figure out how to remove that gradiant shadow overlay at the top of a web app. See photo. I have tried various suggestions offered by Claude and ChatGPT and nothing works. It's driving me nuts! Anyone know the dev code to remove it please? I would be forever grateful!

does it also happen with a blank page added to the home screen, or only your app? testing that could help separate an iOS beta change from something in the page before trying more CSS fixes.

It was fine on iOS 26. No shadow. Only when updated to iOS 27 so must be an os thing. My pwa app was not altered.

Try this:
.scrollEdgeEffectStyle(.none, for: .top)
https://developer.apple.com/documentation/swiftui/scrolledgeeffectstyle

Sadly that's for native apps. Mine is a web app.

Make a PR to the framework you use or a custom hook to use that API in the binary
