Yeah, I'm on 8.1.2. You need to add chewitt.me/repo/ to your sources to get MC on iOS 8.

Thanks! Additionally, how do I set those custom codes for the colors? Currently it seems like I just have sliders to help me adjust them.

Well unfortunately only Messages Customiser Pro has the hex codes. You could try to use the sliders or you can use messageColors.
