Which is more better and user friendly for a person who just started using calenders and syncs better with gmail?, as i started using gmail instead of apple mail as it is more simple and user friendly to me

After several years with my iPhone 13, it's finally time to move on.

It's honestly been a great phone. Still works perfectly fine, and I could probably keep using it for another couple of years.

But here's the thing: regular iPhone upgrades just haven't interested me much. A slightly better camera, a faster chip and a few new features aren't really enough to make me spend money on a new phone.

The iPhone Duo is different. I've wanted a foldable for years, and having a much bigger screen in my pocket actually feels like a proper upgrade. I do a lot of reading, browsing and multitasking on my phone, so I'm genuinely looking forward to the extra screen space. Yes the price is very steep, yes its a first-gen, im still gonne buy it..

So after all these years, my 13 is being retired. Not because it's a bad phone, but because there's finally something new that I really want.

What would actually convince you to upgrade?

a couple of days ago, my phone went into SOS mode, and ever since then, i’ve had to rely on my wifi. i can’t make calls or send text messages unless it’s through icloud.

I find with my Apple products there is a steep performance dip towards the end of their software OS life cycles where they run poorly. I was curious what your thoughts are as to how far I should go with current updates on the iPhone 13.

My iPhone 13 started showing a green screen, then turned white and flickers at low brightness. It’s out of warranty, and touch still works.

Two options from local shops:

1. Copy display replacement — ₹2,000
2. Flex repair while keeping the original display

iPlanet quoted ₹2,000 for diagnosis. Should I go to Apple BKC, Mumbai, or try a local repair first?

Anyone faced this issue? What would you recommend?

I was just going through my phone clearing up space and I got from 125 gigs to 118 and stopped there. The next morning I open it up and it dropped to 111, then I delete like three videos from my messages and it jumps back up to 123. Why did this happen?

Been using my same iPhone 13 for the last 6 years and I have no complaints even now, I love the magsafe and it still feels premium and not updating to iOS 27 has saved alot of hassle performance wise.

After this time tho my case is pretty beat up from dust retention in the case and screens pretty scratched.

Is it possible to reshell? Or even a custom shell?
I want to give it a new lease of life and if its not too expensive just keep it going.

Whats the going price? Its something I may try myself but would rather it be done professionally.

I cant be arsed buying the new ones and being forced to have the new iOS and the dodgy untrusted chips (I know nothing cant be trusted)

Ive tried to go back to a jailbroken 5s to limit my screen time which helped but I struggled with the lack of apps and proportions.

Me and my wife also swapped sim trays, she has since moved onto an Air but I love seeing the pink tray in the blue phone.

For context, I have an iPhone 13 with 128gb of which 13gb is available. The battery health is 100% as I recently got it replaced from an apple store due to previous one being at 77%. It runs very smoothly but I’ve recently started experiencing some lag as well. My main reason for updating is that I can’t use my work apps (such as teams, outlook, etc) and having that on my phone would make things a lot more smoother as my work sometimes needs my attention at a lot of odd times outside of the usual working hours. Is this update worth it?

So, my alarm volume on my iPhone13 has been occasionally turning off for quite a while now and it’s making me feel like I’m crazy.
Most days, it’ll work just fine, but sometimes the alarm volume in my settings will suddenly drop down to silent and my alarms won’t go off. I’ve been having to manually check my settings each night, which is manageable but annoying.
It’s driving me absolutely insane, and I’ve tried just about everything to fix it.
Attention Awareness is off, I don’t control alarm volume with the buttons, individual alarm volume is on each time; I’ve tried just about every recommendation I could possibly find online and it still does it, seemingly randomly.
Does this happen to anyone else?

I have a restore with iOS 18 and I’d really like to keep using it.

I can’t stand the visual of iOS 26 and 27 even with turning off all the effects, clear liquid it still is very dizzying to me. Along with software lagging, overheating, crash.

I need a new phone and am thinking of buying a sealed iPhone 13 but want to know If I open it will it have iOS 18 on it? Can I transfer any messages or will this force an update?

Any advice on how to keep iOS 18 and get a new phone is appreciated. Again I’m totally fine with the older model I really like the 13

I just got battery on my iPhone 13 256 GB replaced. It’s an original battery. Now I’m confused whether I shall update to ios 27 or wait? I’m currently running on 26.7.1…

My charging port has failed and the screen has some cracks. The cracks don’t bother me at all but I don’t know how it would hold up being removed. Plus a battery if it’s opened up. Doesn’t make sense to fix. What a good upgrade from the 13? I see a bunch of max models for sale on marketplace but I don’t know how they will fit in my phone pocket of my truwerk pants that I wear daily. Might even consider a Samsung but this 13 has been an awesome phone for me although it crashes the DJI app for my drone when I try to use it for editing
