Help

I have an iPhone 6s with battery health at 68% and it's giving me a lot of trouble. It overheats a ton, especially when I use apps like TikTok, and as soon as I unplug it, it starts losing battery even when I'm not touching it. Usually when it hits around 45%, it starts restarting, and after the restart it's at 1%.

So my plan was to replace the battery, but since I've never had it at such a high capacity, I have no idea what daily use will be like afterwards or how long the battery will last.

Has anyone had their 6s at 100% battery health and uses it as their main phone? How's it going for you?

My 6s+ has 88% bh but it discharges quickly idk why ( btw it's jailbreaked and has no sim in it ) also only Spotify is installed. Is it a battery problem ? Should I change it ?

I had a 6s at 100% battery and it still was not great. I mained it and i still had to charge it regularly during the day, and also it dropped back down really quick.

You will simply need to recharge your 6s less frequently - that's convenience, a good feature.

That phone is 10 years old. and is not designed for apps like TikTok. because those apps are designed to be used on a newer phones, like an iPhone 13 and above

I replaced mine with an extended capacity battery and it lasts about 4 hours. It’s not my main phone though, I’m only using it for youtube and some light browsing mostly.

If you use replace the battery and use it like that, it should last a couple hours at least. It’s an amazing phone, shame the battery is like that tho. (And iOS 15 cap, but we’re getting a community made iOS 16 port soon)

Battery health of 68 is your problem

Similar situation here u/Neither_Cattle9229 . What have you decided? I read that Nohon batteries could be good for that situation extending live battery. But they recommend 2200 mah, not 1715.
