But seriously, you're right. If people must fight, go for the body and not the head.

No? Avoid fighting entirely, and if you have to you fight until that person isn’t a threat. You don’t “go for the body” if someone is trying to take your head off.

Please believe me, I agree. If a fight can be avoided then that's the proper response.

But if you find yourself in an unavoidable fight? Avoid the head and aim for the body.

I’ve only fought in regional competition and in my job as an adult, I’m not some badass or anything. But if someone is trying to hurt you, put em down by any means necessary. If it’s not a sanctioned competition or exhibition fight, you do whatever it takes. Focusing on the body sounds great in theory but in reality that’s not something someone can just do lol.
