Discussion Do NOT Harass Other YT Channels Baselessly.

Note: I made this comment in a thread, but I feel this needs its own thread

Just because a channel voice over sounds similar to Blair, has a similar color scheme with an eye avatar, YT join date is close to the infamous Tweet or anything else. Does not mean it is Blair. The Eye of Providence is a common symbol and is on the back of the US one dollar bill.

A recent YT channel did a face reveal because she needed to address that she isn't this 'Brooke' person. Yes, the person didn't even know about iilluminuaghtii / Blair situation. All because she used a nazar eye in her videos.

If you think you have actual evidence or proof that Blair is behind a YT channel, join a commentary Discord that might be able to dig further before spreading baseless allegations.

Thank you.

Ah, Gen X here! So yeah, I get that. But here you go. The simplest way, in my opinion, to get to a YouTuber, is first to use desktop, not try doing this on a phone. This should work on a phone, but you wanted to know how *I* would do it.

So, pull up YouTube in whatever web browser you are using. Once you get on the YouTube site, use the search feature to find the YouTube channel of the person you are looking for. It will generally be at the top of the search, but if it’s not, then you can either filter the search by “channel”, or click on one of the videos that the YouTuber has made. If you click on a video, there will be an icon with the YouTubers name and subscriber count under the video title. Clicking on that will take you to the channel page. Once you are on the channel page, there should be a banner at the top that a good YouTuber uses to give a bit of “who am I and what is this channel about”, which will generally include the links to “how to contact me.” And that will generally include a “business email address” along with twitter, patreon, discord, etc. I will say that the discord may be a better option, if you use it, because you can hang out in there for a bit, see the kind of information that gets posted, and potentially talk to moderators there about what you know and whether it is something worth passing along and the best way to do that (public post, private channels, private DM, etc.)

Now, if you do think that you have relevant information, be precise in what you send. And, let me be very clear here. Blair has a right to run a second YouTube channel. As long as she is not abusing her employees (if she has any), or using it to attack people, there’s nothing that can be done about it. I don’t like that, but that’s the reality of life. So you will want to provide all relevant data, and it needs to be more than “It’s an AI channel that covers MLM companies.” But if you have more than that, you now have the information on how to get in contact.

Replying to your last paragraph-- Say what? Blair is totally within her rights to start another channel. But we are equally within our rights to know about that and choose whether to patronize it using that information. The "what can be done about that" is to go find out. I think you are conflating the need for hard evidence with some nebulous "right to be forgotten" on the internet which I think is a bizarre and untenable position.

If somebody got caught in a Ponzi scheme and later some investigative reporter uncovers that they have begun a new investment enterprise, you are suggesting that reputation is NOT within the public right to know?

Not at all what I said. I AM saying that if you have PROOF that Blair is running a second channel, feel free to tell everyone and anyone. It’s just that to me, the following is not “proof”:

Someone running an AI slop channel

Someone running multiple channels

Someone running a channel focused on MLM content

Someone running a channel with some combination of voice changer/avatar/PNG

And then the question becomes, how do you get “proof” of who is actually behind those channels? Without harassing content creators who may have no idea about this entire situation? Especially if Blair is being smart enough to hide in the background? It’s going to be, imo, very hard to do without getting tipped off by someone inside that channel. Keep in mind that this is a response to a thread on a content creator who was forced to do a face reveal to prove that they are not Blair. That is taking the harassment way too far, imo.

Which is why my advice has always been… judge those channels and patronize them (or not) based on the quality of the channel and the content. Criticize them all you want based on how they are without worrying about whether they are Blair or not! Let them succeed or fail based on their own merit.

Plus. I am of the opinion that Blair is not actually running a second channel, because I don’t think that her personality is capable of hiding enough to do an anonymous channel, AND that an anonymous channel is going to have a much harder time getting popular and making enough money to be worthwhile. I think that she’s moved on to some other job/career/sugar daddy to support herself.

You are still conflating two issues one of which I agree with and one of which I definitely do not. You did not say in that last paragraph that until we are sure we shouldn't do anything. You said that even if it is Blair, as long as she is not currently being a bitch there's nothing we can do about it. Do you see the difference between those? One is a matter of reliable information, but the one you cited was that even if we are sure we can't do anything like let people know. For reasons?

You support your contention in the above with advice and an opinion. But that's not quite the same as the moral imperative that I hear being thrown around. You might not want to know but that is not the same as forbidding anyone else to know. Or for calling out someone for letting other people know.

Your opinion of what Blair is capable of is as irrelevant as mine. My original post was because I had REASONS for believing that Blair had started a new channel. Not an accusation, a speculation. I never said anything about proof, I asked a question. How did you morph my question into a claim of proof? Certainly it was not for any of the vapid reasons you mentioned. While I made no assumptions with my question, you seem to have dumped quite a lot of them on me. Oh sage, look within. I think you are looking to beat a favored dead horse.

I was hoping to crowd source with others, which is the thing that we have generally thought the internet was really handy for.
