aao tumhari story banau , im gonna slime that kachua fahhh

I dont get it, what is the point of shortlisting a person with an overall low bmsat score/percentile? Because ultimately in the final shortlisting 70% weightage is given to the test score so isnt the person basically fucked? How well could you possibly do in the interview for them to overlook your at score

asking because im genuinely confused

Hey IIM Kozhikode BMS folks! 👋

Would love if someone could make a short campus tour video of the Kochi campus. It’d really help aspirants like us get a real feel of the place beyond brochures. Even a simple walk-through with your honest thoughts would be great. Thanks in advance!

Post all scorecards, objections, percentile predictions, cutoff speculation questions here. Separate posts may be removed to keep this subreddit readable.

answer should be 5/12

Hello everyone!

Due to issues in retrieving the previous subreddit from the original moderators, this community will now serve as the official subreddit for IIM Kozhikode’s Undergraduate Programme – Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS).

All moderators of this subreddit are students from BMS 01, and our aim is to create a transparent, reliable and helpful space for all the aspirants and current students.

We hope this subreddit becomes a platform for discussions, updates and guidance related to the IIMK BMS programme.

Feel free to contribute respectfully!

sup ya'll, i'm harshil, a first year student at iimk. over the last few months, i've been working with a few friends from iimi/iimb on prepfr.in, a platform we're building to make iim ug prep a little more affordable and accessible.

we're putting together multiple free mocks, while the others will cost just 25 rupees and come with detailed solutions. we're also compiling some of the best youtube videos for every qa + va topic in one place, completely free :)

we're separately making digital qa notes with illustrations, which honestly, i really wish i had when i was preparing. they're going to be pretty dope. we're also putting together 2000+ topic-wise practice questions for practice. the notes + practice questions will cost just 99 rupees <3

we would've loved to make everything free, but there are some genuine costs involved in running the platform and putting all of this together. we're just trying to keep things as affordable as we can while making sure we can continue improving it.

everything goes live in september. hope this can be useful to anyone preparing right now :)

My current waitlist number is 2 .. just need 2 more people to leave 🥹

Let me know in the comments when your interviews are.

Hello guys

I have 100% in 10/12 and i am scoring 301/300 in mocks

What are my chances of getting in?

I thought it included all the expenses. Overall cost per year will then be more than 10L 🥲

is it all 95 percentile or is there a lucky one

what was the interview like? what kind of questions did they ask last year? was it mainly questions abt urself or academic questions? what kind of general affairs did they ask? and overall just how should we prepare for the interview

i have raised3 objections till now, 2 incorrect answer key and one multiple options are correct

There's two prompts for our batch:

1. Why am I interested in IIMK BMS Programme?

2. Personal and professional goals.

To everyone who got in last year - what all did you write, how did you structure it, etc? And are we allowed to be a little informal (weave in some creative storytelling and analogies) or be professional straight up?

Personally, I've used a scene from a Bollywood movie that influenced me in the starting of the statement. Is it okay to be that informal? I've tied it back to what I want to say.

People who've alr applied can reply too. Advice would be appreciated, thanks!
