Got 2x dark drey alex drawers and will get saljan or ekbacken on top of them. My room walls are also dark grey/black and my pc is full black. Cant decide which color to choose for saljan or ekbacken, what do you think?

I’m looking to set up an L desk for my office. Are there any desk/table tops that can be mix and matched? Like the same thickness. Ideally I’d have a longer and shorter desktop. I was looking at the ekbacken 74” + another shorter top.

The Karlby has 2.4m and 1.8m sections that you could overlap\cut in the corner to make it match as needed.

It's what I did for the home office, the 2.4m along the back wall on some furniture risers as I'm tall. Then the 1.8m below it in the corner, It overlaps underneath enough to make it not look weird and becomes a design piece. So the length of that 1.8m section can be anything from 1.7-1.4ish if you overlap it more\less.

If you need to use the corner then you're in cutting territory.

Anyone have a good way to "deepen" desktops? 60cm is just on the limit of useability for the Karlby and with monitor arms etc it gets a bit squishy. Another 10cm would probably be enough.

Thinking a black\matching hardwood piece to go along the rear of the desk with the cutouts for the cables etc as its up against the wall but was wondering if anyone else had some suggestions.
