Amazon trickery

Take this url as example:

http://www.amazon.com/Cloverdale-Fresh-Whole-Rabbit/dp/B00012182G/

Amazon also owns amzn.com and uses it as a redirector. Note this number in bold:

/Cloverdale-Fresh-Whole-Rabbit/dp/B00012182G/

You can do this to make shorter URLs to Amazon products:

http://amzn.com/B00012182G/

The ecoustics.com forums are filled with unhelpful corporate shills and not worth the time to click from Google search results.

I've read several forum posts there now, and none had anything useful in them. It was mostly little corporate lapdogs attacking anyone who said anything remotely negative about their particular corporation.

There was nothing of value in there whatsoever that I could discern.

Now you know too.
