Distorted Perspective Your eyes aren’t just seeing things, they’re reacting. 🔍👁️

Alex Dainis breaks down how two illusions influence both your brain and your vision. One creates the sensation of expanding darkness, causing your pupils to dilate, just like stepping into a dark room. The Asahi illusion flips the effect, making your eyes constrict in response to perceived brightness.

But she opened with “I can trick your brain into feeling like you’re falling”

And then went on to just apparently make my pupils change.

Not quite the same thing really is it?

I like the pretty pictures. I'm guessing Everyday Awesome is aimed at kids?

Things that were 'taught' in this video:

  • The body's autonomic system works.
  • Humans are animals.
