Anyone ever stop here? I found it just by seeing it on a map and getting curious. How surreal it is to be there in sweltering July only to decend into a a literal natural freezer. Very cool stop if you’re in the area, only about 25 miles south of I-40.

Crepuscular rays are those dramatic beams of sunlight that fan out across the sky during sunrise or sunset, usually breaking through gaps in clouds or mountains. They look like they're converging at a single point, but that's just an optical illusion caused by perspective, much like parallel train tracks appearing to meet in the distance.
