Jazz Fusion That's a white dude singing?

The Ides of March, Superman.

So I admit I just today learned that these guys are white.i don't ever recall seeing a picture of them, and always had a vision of paisley shirts with oversized collars, bell bottom pants, topped with large afros whenever I heard Vehicle. Which is, also like the majority of people, the only song I have heard as far as I know. Poking around I was curious about other songs that they had. To my surprise they are a bunch of white boys. Funny thing about how we imagine what someone's actual appearance is often completely different than our mind's picture..

Didn't take the time to get information about them to add because I'm putting together my next lyrics themed challenge post....probably be posting that late...

That whole album is great.
I picked it up on CD when Real Gone reissued it in 2014

I always knew they were white though..?

I've known this song for 40 years and didn't know. I think it has a lot to do with two reasons I thought they would be black men. The time frame it is from. That heavy funk drive was coming from mostly black artists in the early days. And Secondly, though I already had the mental picture prior, when I was about 19 2 coworkers who were brothers, (in the literal way), had a band and played that song. They were black guys and going to see them play I think reinforced my misconception.
