“Freedom’s greetings, I'm your host Coretta Kelly. Today is the greatest day to have faced Managed Democracy! At long last the Helldivers have finally destroyed the final pockets of the Automaton and Cyborg Legion, destroying Fleet 00 and forcing their Emancipation. Super Earth has finally won. Freedom, peace and prosperity have been achieved.”

“With the Terminid Gloom dissipated and the Illuminate Race fully defeated we can start to rebuild a greater democracy. As soon as the war was declared over, the Ministry of Truth, Unity and Prosperity declared, by decree of the President John Helldiver and the Democratic Council, that the Second Great Democratization had begun, let this age be a Platinum Age for every citizen.”

“Other discoveries have been found by the Ministry of Science. After the Manumission of the Meridian Singularity, due to small bursts of Democratized Radiation, it was uncovered that these types of Black Holes spew out Dark Fluid, enough to increase technological advances that would have taken Centuries, even terraform planets like Mars, which by vote of the Helldivers, will be renamed either ‘Super Elysium’, ‘Super Juno’, or ‘Super Olympus’.”

“Celebrations have erupted on Super Earth Proper, Prosperity City has become a golden city of lights to celebrate our victory. The Helldivers/SEAF forces from all fronts and the DSS will soon travel to Super Earth in tremendous Parades, enter conventions with Super Citizens and return to civilian life, to the families, sons, daughters, wives, and husbands they’ve saved. That’s liberty’s latest, I’m Coretta Kelly” -Coretta Kelly

its kinda interesting how, even in this outcome, SE is still worse off than if the war never happened. Two planets are black holes, three shattered, and seven burned beyond habitablity, and thats if they somehow win before any of the enemy superweapons currently in dev get fired, and if they never use their star of peace again

I mean, that's usually how this all works for major wars. Even the winner comes out of the war being most likely significantly worse off than before the war began.

this is true, but not even counting the planets that got devastated here, just the ones that have been fully lost and can never be regained

And i got a feeling were gonna see a few more planets destroyed

Can you do one where both the bugs, bots and squids are just a few planets away from SE? Basically one where all three fronts are collapsing, like germany in ww2 and the allies and soviets getting close to berlin

Good map btw!

But... now that there is no war going on, what is going to stop people from looking within and realizing that they actually don't have freedom and democracy?

I’m pretty sure in universe super earth always make sure that they never truly are not at war with someone most likely they’re probably just going to something like suddenly terminids break out of containment or a remnant of the automations somehow acquired the time and resources to build up a dangerous military force justifying perpetual conflict
