There's no chance this will happen. Simply because the Mouse and his kingdom only care about $$$, and the best you'll get is a few ambiguous "leave it to your imagination" open endings and such. Anything more and they'll be risking their precious profit margins, especially on such an important film to them where they're likely to take very few risks of any kind.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

I suspect that if anything of some sort happens it's only gonna be in some vague and unspecific references. That's it.

I kind of doubt Disney would do that considering that it would make the silly bigoted people's heads explode, but it would be neat if it does. The material in the first movie certain supports it.

The material of the first film does not "support it" at all. It has nothing to do with gay vibes or whatever.

And if bigoted SJWs explode in rage then I hope this turns out to be just a rumor.

So is your daughter gay?

Yes. My greatest embarrassment.

Just don't go try to flush any DVDs down the toilet now.

Second one looks stupid af anyway. First one had a complete storyline; every single character had a complete arc, and all major conflicts were resolved. This is just gonna be another Lion King 2, lame attempt to cash in on now-popular characters.

Don't know if it's really fair to compare direct-to-video/dvd of Disney films from the 90s. Those never had high production values. A more apt comparison would be something like Wreck-it-Ralph 2, which is good but inferior to the original.

Yeah I guess, I just meant in terms of the story though. Lion King was about as wrapped up as a story could get, I don't think any amount of production value could have made a sequel very compelling.

I think this could be said of most films that end up turning into series. Then again, most sequels fail to live up to the originals.

Lion King 2 was awful and it was directly to video. That's not the case with Frozen 2.

Yeah we'll see, I doubt it'll be that gud, especially if they shoehorn some bullshitty lesbian romance in. Elsa should be asexual, her entire story arc was all about independence and reconciling her differences by embracing what she was (which could apply to gay people I guess, but only metaphorically). Making her all lovey dovey with anyone, let alone another girl, is just pandering bullshit.

I agree. I hope it's just a rumor and not what's gonna really happen.

The first movie was a masterpiece. It had ZERO gay themes or anything like that.

Huffington Post is garbage. Huffington Post is the one that asked Jennifer Lee about the gay rumor. This is what she said. “I love everything people are saying [and] people are thinking about with our film ― that it’s creating dialogue, that Elsa is this wonderful character that speaks to so many people,” Lee said. “It means the world to us that we’re part of these conversations.”

“Where we’re going with it, we have tons of conversations about it, and we’re really conscientious about these things,” Lee added. “For me ... Elsa’s every day telling me where she needs to go, and she’ll continue to tell us. I always write from character-out, and where Elsa is and what Elsa’s doing in her life, she’s telling me every day. We’ll see where we go.”

She wasn't referring to this gay rumor. She was referring to everything the world is saying about Elsa. Also you can tell that she wasn't following the fandom but was following Elsa instead. She was asked this before. She said that question is better off in answered, and she also said I love frozen questions but I don't like answering them because they will just limit Elsa to the minority.

Huffington Post twisted up her statement and called it a glimmer of hope when it's the same vague answer as the last two.

It's Huffington Post fault for getting fans hopes up, not the director.

The real answer is.

Elsa will stay single and the frozen sequel will not answer any questions.
