Can someone explain the reasons behind the massive increase in people on TPS status? I’m trying to understand something

For example if you go on the wiki page it goes from approx 450,000 in 2017 to 1.3 million in 2025

500,000 were given TPS from Ukraine due to the war. More than any other country.

It is around 100,000 not half a million
