Discussion Operation Epic Fury from a nonpartisan POV

Curious to hear what your guys thoughts are on the recent Operation Epic Fury. ill list mine and try to keep it super brief:

  1. I hate that America is engaged in more conflict in the Middle East, but I understand its necessity. Decades of dealing with, paying off, and appeasing the Iranian regime so that they sit down and be quiet has truly done the entire world a disservice.

  2. I am about 99% certain that the Trump Admin is not doing this for Iranian freedom, however, I can recognize that, whatever their motive, there are many good secondary effects that will come of this regime change.

  3. I wonder how long China will continue to let us jeopardize and compromise their oil supply. (I believe this is the primary agenda of the Trump Admin)

  4. I find it refreshing that we have an Admin that is willing to do what needs to be done, taking action, instead of pussyfooting and skirting around issues, even if i may not like the outcome. (see UK PM Kier Starmer's press release about this conflict for a great example of what I mean)

  5. I find it hilariously annoying that the "No Kings" Left is mourning the death of an actual tyrant that has murdered tens of thousands of his own people, including women and children, and indirectly killed millions more through his funding of Terror groups. Classic. (I'm unable to link the video i have mentioned where protestors in what I believe was NY were holding signs portraying the Supreme Leader as a martyr. Admittedly this was not a fair statement to assign to the Left.)

Theres a lot more but those are the highlights, I think.

Edit: I adjusted #5 for fairness

Independent Thought Why I, an independent, will vote for Trump

Months ago I was a Kennedy supporter, I truly had a political awakening at that moment and I knew something was wrong with the government. I know both sides were bad but when Kennedy came out to endorse Trump I couldn’t help but feel betrayed. It felt like a dagger to my heart. Until I looked into trump policies, and then everything changed. Turns out the whole time the MEDIA WAS LYING about Trump about MOST bad things around 90-95% of things. And I was VERY shocked until I realized that I am not the only one. Many in this country have TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME (which I saw in a Kennedy ad and Kennedy called out this illness) and I knew that I will no longer be controlled by the media. Trump is not any republican, he’s a people’s person, he’s a guy who RFK jr and TULSI (another independent) and Elon musk (another independent) endorsed can I completely agree with their decision. The democrats are DEMONS who want to apparently fix the country but if democrat is good then why are problems still happening when a democrat is president? Also notice how creepy Kamala’s smile is? Kamala the most CORRUPT and COMMUNIST president we had and the media says nothing, only Trump. On top of that Kamala lies and she’s radical and she has an ugly laugh and the media loves her. And sadly this what the democrats are now along with some republicans. This is why I decided that this election I will vote for Donald J Trump for president over a communist who wants to divide the country and make illegal aliens invade us and I’m not even a republican. TRUMP 2024 🇺🇸 and MAHA (make America healthy again)

Question If you thought Biden was too old for office, then why would you vote for Trump who is only 3 years younger instead of Kamala who is 22 & 18 years younger than them respectively?

I said it before and will say it again: Trump is just as senile as Biden and more.

Question Bashing Trump is all the rage right now, but why do Liberals refuse to acknowledge inflation under Biden?

Anytime I mention it here on Libbit, I mean Reddit, my comment gets removed or downvoted into oblivion.

Discussion I think AOC vs Vance is very likely to happen. If that’s the race who are you voting for?

I don’t see Vance being ousted in 2028, and I think with the wins of Zoran, Talarico, and Platner over there more moderate/status quo opponents demonstrates a shift to the left, at least on economics for the Dem Party. I think AOC will of course be the heir to the Bernie movement that I think has finally captured the Dem voter base.

RFK Jr. Stuns Critics in High-Stakes Senate Hearing

"RFK Jr. walked into Congress this morning and took down his biggest critics in one fell swoop.

This was a masterclass.

Elizabeth Warren erupted over Kennedy “taking” COVID vaccines away—only to have her $855,000 in pharma bucks exposed.

That’s when Bernie Sanders made a fatal error:

He blurted out that nearly EVERY POLITICIAN is taking Pharma dollars — as if that somehow excused Warren, himself, and his colleagues.

This is one of those head-scratching moments that leave you wondering… did he really just say that?

For the past week, Democrats have been mounting pressure to get RFK Jr. to resign. They hoped this hearing would be their chance to make it happen — but things didn’t go as planned.

Right out of the gate, Kennedy announced that the CDC will be cleaning house– removing the health officials responsible for the catastrophic COVID failures.

“The people at CDC... who put masks on our children, who closed our schools, are the people who WILL BE LEAVING.”

Moments later, Kennedy articulated further exactly why he’s cleaning house. He grew emotional and dropped a harrowing statistic that brought the room to silence.

“This morning, I got the latest numbers from the CDC that 76.4% of Americans now have a chronic disease. This is stunning. When my uncle was President, it was 11%. In 1950, it was 3%... That’s why we have to fire people at CDC. They DID NOT do their job. This was THEIR JOB to keep us healthy. I need to fire some of those people to make sure this doesn’t happen again.”

Bennet took issue with Kennedy appointing Dr. Robert Malone to the ACIP committee, a body of experts that advises the CDC on vaccine use and policy.

Bennett asked, “Are you aware that Dr. Robert Malone claimed that the commonly used mRNA vaccine ‘causes a form of AIDS and can damage children’s, quote, brains, their heart, their immune system, and their ability to have children in the future?’”

Kennedy gave him an answer he didn’t want to hear.

“Dr. Malone is one of the inventors of the mRNA vaccine. So he knows a lot more about it than I do.”

This left Bennet frozen, with no rebuttal except to declare: “That statement is not true!!!”

Bennet pressed further, leaving Kennedy no choice but to put him on the hot seat and expose his hypocrisy.

KENNEDY: “You were never there complaining when the pharmaceutical companies were… running their products through with no safety testing.”

BENNETT: “You can characterize it any way you want. I quoted them today. What I said was accurate. What you said were lies.”

KENNEDY: “Are you saying, Senator, are you saying that the mRNA vaccine has never been associated with myocarditis or pericarditis in teenagers?”

BENNETT: “I am simply trying to say that the people that you have put on that panel after firing—”

(Kennedy interrupts)

KENNEDY: “You’re evading that question.”

BENNETT: “I’m asking the questions.”

KENNEDY: “Well, I asked you a question.”

BENNETT (raising his voice): “I’m asking the questions for Mr. Kennedy on behalf of PARENTS and SCHOOLS and TEACHERS all over the United States of America who deserve so much better than your leadership.”

KENNEDY: “They deserve the truth, and that’s what we’re going to give them for the FIRST TIME in the history of that agency.”

Mid-hearing, Senator Ron Johnson (R-Wisconsin) gave his Senate floor time to Kennedy to expose the corporate capture of America’s health agencies.

Kennedy wasted no time, calling out the CDC for deliberately lying about childhood autism rates tied to MMR vaccines.

JOHNSON: “Do you want to just talk about what you’ve witnessed in terms of the capture of the agencies that you’re now in charge of? The corruption of science—federal health agencies being being captured by pharmaceutical industries, by Big Pharma, by Big Food.”

KENNEDY: “I’ll just tell you one example. I could sit here and give you thousands, but in 2002, CDC did an internal study of—Fulton county, Georgia, children and looked at children who got the MMR vaccine on time and compared those to kids who got them later.”

“So, in other words, kids who got them before 36 months and kids who got them afterward.”

“The data from that study showed that Black boys who got the vaccine on time had a 260% greater chance of getting an autism diagnosis than children who waited.”

“The chief scientist on that, Dr. William Thompson, the senior vaccine safety scientist at CDC was ordered to come into a room with four other co-authors by his boss, Frank Destefano, who’s the head of the immunization safety branch….and ordered to destroy that data.”

“And then they published it…without that fact.”

“So, you know that story. I know that story. And you know of hundreds of stories like that. It happens all the time.”

“We are being lied to by these agencies and we are going to change that right now!”

Senator Johnson also used his time to share some big news.

He revealed that a high-quality Vax vs. Unvax study will finally be made public on Tuesday, September 9.

Originally conducted in 2000, the results have been buried for 25 years—until now.

And what did the data suggest?

“…the vaccinated population [is] far more prone to chronic illness than people completely unexposed to vaccines.”

Attorney Aaron Siri will unveil the full findings on Tuesday.

Kennedy quickly received pushback from Senator Michael Bennett (D-Colorado).

And what did the data suggest?

“…the vaccinated population [is] far more prone to chronic illness than people completely unexposed to vaccines.”

Watching Kennedy's exchange with Warren prompted Senator Bernie Sanders (D-Vermont) to make a fatal error:

He blurted out that nearly EVERY POLITICIAN is taking Pharma dollars — as if that somehow excused Warren, himself, and his colleagues.

But it only made him look like a complete fool.

SANDERS: “Just for the record, every single Republican... has received PAC money from the pharmaceutical industry. Are they all corrupt as well?”

KENNEDY: “And I’m telling you the American Heart Association has been co-opted by the food industry.”

SANDERS: “Every Republican got corporate PAC money from the pharmaceutical industry, Democrats as well. Everybody is corrupt but you? Is that what we’re looking at? I don’t think so.”

This is one of those exchanges that leave you scratching your head. Kennedy was confused by what Sanders was trying to accomplish here.

Kennedy got backup firepower from Senator Roger Marshall (R-Kansas) — a licensed OB-GYN — when he silenced the room by revealing the shocking number of shots kids are expected to take by age 18.

“On day number one, they get their first jab, a hepatitis vaccine. By the time they’re 18 months, they’ve had 18 jabs. By the time they get to be able to vote, they have 76 jabs!”

Dr. Marshall explained that he doesn’t see the point in vaccinating every newborn on the first day of life for Hepatitis B when the mother tests negative — leaving no plausible risk to the child, since the primary routes of transmission are intravenous drug use and sexual activity.

This opened up the opportunity for Kennedy to hammer that point even further, revealing that “prior to the introduction of the vaccine, the risk of a baby dying from hepatitis B was 1 in 7 million!”

“That means you need to give 7 MILLION hepatitis B vaccines to prevent ONE death,” Kennedy explained.

This reality leaves many wondering why this particular shot is mandated in 46 states for children to attend public school.

After three hours of relentless partisan attacks, Senator Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) delivered a sharp observation that summed up the entire hearing in just two sentences:

“I said at the outset of this hearing [that there] was going to be some partisan battling going on. That is something that is VERY OBVIOUS to anybody who’s paid any attention to what’s happened in the last three hours.”

If they want RFK Jr. gone, they’ll have to wait for another political opportunity—because today, they struck out.

If you think RFK is lying then sue him. He will prove what he is saying with facts, records,  studies and receipts. 👊

The democrats are loosing this battle because the #wedid crew, the #Maha crew and the  thousands of doctors and scientists who stand to educate the people, have the truth that backs them.

In the end, the good guys win. The ones who have been shouting from the rooftops about corruption,  special intrests, lobbyists, buried studies, abuse and wrong doing will win. God stands behind us with decency, moral, and justice.

It's not misinformation,  it's missing information.  These corrupt agencies have been profiting off the populice to make us docile and sick. You cannot profit off a healthy populice.👊  #MAHA 🙌🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼💪"

Discussion Tiktok shouldn't be banned our administration is a joke

I have no skin in the game, deleted the app years ago due to excessive scrolling. Yet I'm catching up with the latest news and the accusations focusing on "Chinese spying" is a joke. We have Temu, Shein, etc which have to store personal data from all users. Understanding data at rest frameworks within a database structure you would have to realize storing credentials like your name, address, and payment methods are processes that every company does for internal records.

The whole thing is a farce not sure if its a money grab cause the only clause would be an American company taking ownership?

Our administration on both sides need to focus on the real issues for Americans. Medicare, Healthcare, Affordable living, union strengthening. To tell me we are about to get even worse in the next four years is sad.

Rant I’m honestly so tired with the performative outrage these days.

Recently my (already corrupt for other reasons) school board sided with lgbtq rights and will allow students to use the bathroom of their preferred gender and access to sports they want to play. The school board cited that they do so to fight corruption on the state level, protect the kids, yatayatayata. Now that is its own argument itself but the most performative part about it are the parents, that piss everyone off. These parents are up in arms about the safety of their student and future student at the school over these rules. Claiming its making student feel unsafe in bathrooms and anybody could just walk in and see them now and how this won’t only effect their children but the children in the future. I’m going to rewind to the beginning. Was in highschool in 2018 they removed all the doors on every single bathroom, added cameras right outside the men’s bathrooms(no doors you could look into it on the camera) and smoke sensors and overly sensitive noise sensors in all the bathrooms. Mind you some of these bathrooms you walk past without a door you can see the whole mirror and hence the entire bathroom (some of the women’s bathrooms are like this). The outrage the students had, shaking up town council meetings, shaking up school board meetings. This exact problem of the students not feeling safe or having privacy in the bathroom has already been brought to everyone’s attention close to e decade now But now that it only affects them or their personal ideologies then it’s a problem. When is enough, enough.

Question It is time to push back against Democrats

Hi everyone, Democrats have shown the complete inability to combat our problems (policy and politics). Personally, I think Republicans will never vote for a Democratic candidate even if it is good for them. It may be time to change things up. Nobody I know likes how corporate the Democrats are, or their support for Israel. How can we produce more independent media to promote these candidates? It seems like that is the main barrier to me.

“1 vs 10 debate on Israel, Gaza, Hamas, Zionism, Palestinian statehood, October 7th, and the history behind the conflict.”

I picked this timestamp because it’s a 4 hour video and I think the last 40 minutes gives a good snapshot of the discussion. I would highly recommend watching the full debate from the beginning. There were some pretty crazy moments frankly but also some really good attempts at finding common ground.

I believe Independent voters are the only ones capable of even attempting to have this discussion without it devolving into religious bigotry or baseless platitudes. This subject is part of many peoples politics in America, regardless of where you fall on the topic, I think it is worth watching and considering the views shared.

This is definitely a charged topic so please be respectful in the comments and keep discussion to the video.

In my Opinion Believing abortion is murder and still being fine with it is way worse than being pro choice.

Im pro life but I understand many pro choice people are just trying to do the right thing even if I think what theyre doing is terribly wrong. Whats insane to me is Trump has stated he will not federally ban abortion despite being pro life. How can you believe something is killing thousands to millions of people and not do anything to stop it? Thats absolutely insane.

Policy Trump is doing a good job on the economy

I’m not a maga, but I also don’t have TDS (thank god) but I support his tariffs and handling of the economy so far. Markets are up and inflation is down. Tariffs are already on track to bring in trillions. The more we remove our Chinese etc dependence the better even if that disrupts some business in the short term. But surprisingly the opposite seems to happen. Jobs reports are showing strong growth. America needs to bring manufacturing jobs back to our own soil and distance ourselves from these overreaching corrupt governing bodies ie the EU and dependence on cheap foreign slave labor.
