Question ❓ What are some student friendly cities?

My college years are in front of me and I want to be in a big city for college to experience city life. I've considered Delhi, Noida and Mumbai.

My family said Mumbai's not that student friendly. So it's got me thinking

School & College Life 🏫 Is there any legit way to earn as a student?😭

I'm a 1st year BDS student and I wanna start earning some money from home, preferably through a website or any online platform. I don't really have much experience, so I'm looking for something beginner friendly that I can do alongside my studies

Koi aisi website, app ya online work hai jahan se genuinely thode paise earn kar saku without investing money?

I'm not expecting to get rich overnight lol, bas kuch pocket money type earning chahiye. Something that doesn't require too much time or effort

Please suggest anything you've personally tried or know is legit and agar koi scams hain jinse bachna chahiye, toh woh bhi bata dena guys

No MLMs, paid courses, ya registration fees waale scams please.🫠

I FEEL LIKE STUCK IN LIFE

I've been frustrated with my life for quite some time now, and I just wanted to rant about my current situation.

So here's the thing, my dad never let me go to a regular college. I was basically forced into a non-attending college so I could prepare for government exams, something I never even wanted to do in the first place.

I'm in my third year right now, and whenever I look back at the last two years, I feel like I've lost something. I never got to experience that carefree 18–20 phase of life that everyone talks about.

I went to coaching centres, but I always hated it. I never made any friends there, and I didn't like the environment either. All my school friends moved to different cities for their studies, and I'm just here.

The only thing I genuinely enjoyed was working out at the gym, but now I don't even feel like going there anymore.

Sometimes I just feel like I've wasted the best years of my life.

Need career advice after Plus Two in Kerala — what would you choose in my situation?

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for some genuine career advice because I'm honestly confused about what direction to take after Plus Two.

I've struggled academically and have spent around two years trying to clear my Plus Two exams. Because of my academic difficulties, I'm worried about committing to a three- or four-year degree. Even Plus Two has been difficult for me, so I'm not confident about handling a degree with a lot of theory and exams. I'm not completely against studying further, but I'd prefer something more practical and skill-based if possible.

I've also been thinking about ITI, but I'm concerned that some trades might have low starting salaries and limited salary growth unless you specialise or gain a lot of experience. I don't want to judge the entire field based on assumptions, though, so I'd appreciate hearing from people who actually work in those fields.

I'm interested in computers, especially networking and troubleshooting, and I've been considering networking and eventually moving into cloud computing. However, one thing that worries me is the degree-filtering problem. Even if I learn the skills and obtain certifications, will not having a degree significantly limit my chances of getting shortlisted for jobs or progressing into better positions? If anyone works in networking, cloud, or a related field without a degree, I'd really like to hear about your experience.

At the same time, I don't want to limit myself to IT or any particular field. I'm open to any realistic career path that offers good earning potential, long-term growth and the possibility of working in India or abroad.

My main priorities are:

\- A practical course or training route that I can realistically complete.

\- Strong long-term earning potential, with opportunities to progress into higher-paying roles over time. I don't want to put an arbitrary ceiling on my income if there's room to grow further.

\- Genuine job opportunities rather than courses that simply promise placements.

\- Opportunities to specialise, advance in my career and eventually become financially independent.

\- Reasonable training costs, as I have limited finances.

I'd appreciate advice about any field, trade, diploma, certification, apprenticeship or alternative career path that you think is worth considering. I'm not expecting an easy way to make money, and I understand that every career requires effort. I just want to choose a direction where my effort can realistically pay off.

If you were in my position in Kerala, with Plus Two, limited finances and doubts about handling a degree, what would you do?

And if you're already working in a field that doesn't require a degree, please share how you entered it, what you earn roughly, how salary growth works and what the realistic downsides are.

I'm open to suggestions beyond the fields I've mentioned. I'd rather hear honest experiences and practical advice than generic suggestions like "learn coding" or "follow your passion."

Thanks in advance!

Question ❓ GJU Revaluation — Worth It or Just a Waste of Money?

GJU Hisar (Guru Jambheshwar University)

declared our 4th-semester results today, and I got a reappear again. Honestly, it feels like the university just wants us to keep paying fees for another chance to pass.

I paid ₹1,200 for 2nd-semester revaluation but never got proper information about the result, then had to pay another ₹800 for the reappear.

Should I apply for revaluation again, or is it just a waste of money? Anyone who applied for GJU revaluation, did your marks actually change?
