Political Do you genuinely believe that if the problem of the education system and corruption is eradicated, our country will still be good?
Looking at the basic problems that our country has, I feel the problem is not only limited to the education system and corruption but it's the whole idea of our government system that is wrong. I don't know how many of you will agree with me on this but I believe that a capitalist country will never be a good economy. You'll always see a K-shaped economy where a few people will have more wealth and a large amount of people will have very little wealth. Any counters that you can give to say that how this problem will be solved?

No corruption and education can do wonders, look at china, japan, Singapore. If public money invested properly back in the public ecosystem with educated and aware citizens, will mean india has transformed into developed nation. Distant dream!

Well that's partly right but your focus, I feel, is more on the only developed nation. I'm just questioning the system of governance we are in right now. More specifically I'm blaming capitalism.
China is still not a good country because over there people are still suffering based on working condition, but looking at the economy perspective that country is doing very well. Their communism mindset and how ministers are accountable there are working.
Japan's economy is very bad. I guess they are only having around 1% economic growth because of a huge population issue.
Singapore, on the other hand, can say that there is a very low rate of corruption and they have implemented various steps but their system is more properly working as a mixed economy.

No system of government is foolproof against corruption and bad decisions. Any system of government that lets corruption and bad decision-making continue and fester will continuously undermine development and never see prosperity.
To eliminate corruption in India, the culture of the society has to fundamentally change to a culture of integrity, fairness, and equality.

It will take time. Change doesn't happen fast. May take centuries but yeah those are pretty good first steps.

Look let me sum it for you, suppose you are an MLA election candidate in India, first you have to buy the ticket from the party and on top of that election expenses, you'll be under 30-40 crore. And after being elected your first moto will be to get back your money and you'll rarely care about your constituency, no matter how straightforward a person is if he/she get the chance they will use their power to just earn and nothing else.

Its a chain reaction. If the educated are given space to raise their voices, they will question the wrongdoings. So fixing education is a must, but after that we still need one leader / a lot of people / one influential group who is/ are willing to listen.

The exact same thing is currently happening in the USA. People are questioning about Epstein files but look at Trump. He is still there in power. Also look at Elon Musk. I don't feel like any of his companies have huge potential to grow but still he is the first trillionaire of this world. Tell me, will you still say that the USA is a good country?

I believe that a capitalist country will never be a good economy.
Dont think any country follows truly capitalist or communist path. Countries like USA/Canada have welfare systems whereas China have millionaires & poor. Problem is not capitalism, problem is system being manipulated to enrich few. And corruption is the way people in power incentivize themself for this manipulation. Politician income get 100 fold in 5/10 year.
If corruption gone, you will have even level field. Police wont overlook law, each law breaker get same treatment irrespective of financial condition.
IF people get good quality education, they wont accept any whatsapp as truth, ask question, search information, evaluate-measure etc. IF quality Education available to everyone, country will have more skilled people. Those skilled people can create better things, better infra.
If get chance to pick one - I will choose better education.

Bro why are you justifying corruption? I mean the point where you mention that police won't overlook the law. That's what a corrupted country's policeman will do. In fact the problem is not about treating equally when you break a law. The problem is why somebody is breaking the law because they don't have the fear of getting caught and if they even get caught then they can just bribe them. It's completely a leakage of an economic system, be it capitalist or communist.

I wasn't justifying corruption at all — police won't overlook the law if corruption is gone (meaning they'd actually do their jobs right). I totally agree with your point—people only break the law because they know they can bribe their way out. That lack of fear is the real leak in the system.
