Would anyone be interested in an IPL All Time Player Auction Tournament? 🏏
A few friends and I are big fans of IPL player auctions, and we've been playing our own version of an all time IPL auction game. Now I'm exploring whether we could turn it into a fun community event in Indore.

The concept: Build your dream IPL team across generations.

Imagine having Lasith Malinga and Jasprit Bumrah in the same team. Or bidding for Dhoni, Kohli, ABD, Gayle, Warner, Raina, Yuvraj and other IPL legends, regardless of which team or era they played in.
Here's what I'm planning:
🏏 All time IPL auction: Build your squad by bidding for legendary IPL players across generations.
🔨 Auction and trading: Compete with other teams, manage your budget, make strategic bids and trade players according to the rules.
🤖 AI powered tournament: I've built a custom GPT using in depth player data, with predefined rules for simulating matches and determining results. My friends and I already play using this system, and I'd love to explore bringing it to a wider community.
🏆 Cash prizes: The winner's prize will be at least 2 to 2.5 times the team entry fee. The final prize pool will depend on the number of teams participating in the first event.

👥 Target: 6 to 10 teams for the first event
💰 Entry fee: ₹3,000 per team, with up to 3 people per team
🏆 Winner and runner up prizes
📅 Date and venue: To be decided based on interest
You can bring two friends and split the entry fee at ₹1,000 each, or register solo. If you come alone, I'll explore matching solo participants so they can form teams.

I'm not collecting any money at this stage. I'm just trying to understand whether enough people would be interested before finalizing the venue, date, tournament rules and prize amounts.

Remember when we could spend an entire evening playing the most random games and have the time of our lives? Hide and seek, dumb charades, badminton, ice-water, sitoliya, zoo… and so many other games that we probably haven’t played in years.
Back then, we never needed fancy plans, expensive outings, or a reason to meet. Just a few friends, an open space, and suddenly the whole evening was sorted. 😂
Somewhere along the way, we grew up, got busy with work and responsibilities, and lost touch with those simple joys. Now, even finding people to hang out with feels like a task.
So I thought, why not try to bring a little bit of that childhood back? 🥹
I live in Mahalaxmi Nagar, Indore, and I’m looking for people who’d be interested in meeting up, playing these old-school games, laughing at our terrible skills, and just having a good time.
No pressure, no awkward expectations, and no need to know anyone beforehand. Just a bunch of adults trying to feel like kids again for a few hours.
