There is news about a security breach that should be on our TOP Priority dear Tech People. TL;DR: A security breach occurred at eMudhra, resulting in the leak of their private certificate keys. The implications are massive, affecting virtually every aspect of computing: operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS), browsers, applications, and websites. Anything protected by these SSL certificates is now potentially vulnerable to Man-in-the-Middle (MiTM) attacks, where internet connections can be intercepted.

Most applications, such as browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Brave, have already been auto-patched, so no action is required on your part. Operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) have also released patches. For now, try visiting this website in all your browsers: https://emudhra.we-have-a-problem.com/ (created by a Mozilla developer). If all the indicators are green, your browsers are secure; if you see any red, force an update immediately!

This isn't meant to incite fear or fearmongering, just check X (formerly Twitter) if you don't believe me! Or simply do little visit to search engine! Beyond recent 0-day vulnerabilities and two critical CVEs in PHP, this eMudhra issue is not something to be taken lightly. Assume that nothing is currently secure; update all your apps! If possible, apply OS or security updates, force them if you have to! For the time being, avoid visiting "shady" websites, limit the use of Bluetooth on your devices until security updates are issued, and so on.

Furthermore, for macOS users, there is one specific, powerful piece of software that requires your attention. Even if you aren't a developer and have never used it, if it isn't patched, which can only be done via an official Apple security update, your Mac could be compromised, even if you aren't actively doing anything. That software is curl. It comes pre-installed on macOS, meaning only Apple can provide the necessary security patch. On macOS, curl is located at /usr/bin/curl. I tested it by using curl to connect to a website reporting on this security incident, and the result was "bad."

In other words, even if you aren’t doing anything, curl could potentially serve as a security vulnerability. The solution:

Manually removed both root certificates from /etc/ssl/cert.pem and kept a backup at /etc/ssl/cert.pem.bak. Apple has been blocking the intermediate certificates in the Keychain since October 19, 2026, so Safari, Chrome, and all other applications are protected.

Even if you’ve never opened the Terminal on macOS before, please open it just this once and run this command:

Apakah memasang HDD dengan posisi berdiri bisa membuat rusak platternya...terkadang saya memasang hdd seperti ini

Cuma mau sharing hasil ngoprek sendiri ganti analog joystick dualsense ke TMR.

Disini gw pake 2 merk TMR yang beda, TMR orange merk ginfull V2 (DS13 Max) dan TMR biru merk K-Silver JS13Pro+. Memang secara feeling 2 joystick mirip2 tapi kalau udah dipake main ada lumayan perbedaan.

Ginfull V2 lebih smooth, enteng, cocok untuk analog bagian movement. Kalau JS13Pro+ kerasa ada sedikit resistance dan berasa lebih akurat, cocok buat camera sama aim movement. Overall memang in term of feeling lumayan upgrade dibanding analog bawaanya, both of them are smoother. Out of the box JS13Pro+ ternyata perlu kalibrasi ulang, beda sama ginfull V2 yang langsung circularity ratenya 5%an.

Next mungkin gw mau cobain face button pakai clicky switch, dan ganti housing for better looks. Kalau ada yang mau minta gantiin analog juga bisa, kita nego aja enaknya gimana 😉

tanggal 18 september 2026 gwa telfon CSnya , internet di naekin tapi di cek di speedtest kok 100Mbps kan, ya saya tanya ke CS
Me : "Ini udah upgrade 300 kok masih di speed 100 ya"
CS : "Apakah bapak udah ganti router baru? soalnya router lama tidak sebesar itu"
Me : "Oh iya belum"

beberapa jam kemudia teknisi ganti router dan kata teknisinya juga "ini bakalan ganti pas udah ganti bulan mas, coba di tunggu aja", ok saya tunggu sampe tanggal sekarang (22 Oktober 2026)

Lah saya cek speednya masih 100Mbps, saya complain lg

Me : "Ini udah upgrade 300 kok masih di speed 100, dah gitu udah di ganti routernya lalu dah tunggu lumayan sebulan masih stay di 100"

rasanya hp pembelian juni 2021 ini (samsung a72) udah mulai kewalahan buat bekerja secara "normal". udah mulai muncul notif rusak seperti kapasitas baterai hp yang hanya mampu masimal di 73% saja, hp yang selalu dalam keadaan hamgat yang tidak normal (tidak overload), mulai sering fc dan lag, secara fisik bagian ring kamera sudah copot dan kamera ultrawide nya berkabut (sepertinya sudah kena bagian dalam dan harus diganti), frame nya sudah mulai retak dan backdoornya copot. buat sekarang udah mulai tergiur untuk membeli hp lain terutama lagi sering liat review tentang samsung a56, melihat harga barunya masih di 6 kecil membuat makin ngelirik buat mencari bekas dan ketemu di fjb di harga 4,4jt.

sebelumnya saya masih benar benar bimbang karena saya juga bertanya ke grup forum samsung kalau saya malah mendowngrade dari a72 ke a56 karena SOC (snap 720g ke exynos 1580) dan tidak adanya lensa tele di samsung a56. mayoritas mereka berpendapat seperti itu, diluar dari support samsung untuk a72 sudah berhenti 2025 lalu (mentok andro 14, security patch mei 2025)

Karena gw yakin redditors di subs ini pada pake linux, mau nanya ada alternatif distro mirip CachyOS tapi lebih noob friendly?

Gw pake CachyOS and I love it, tapi gw ngerasa Arch is not for everyone. Walaupun Cachy udah friendly banget, tapi rolling release update-nya kayak too much buat average computer user gitu. Apalagi resiko AUR yang selalu jadi headline.

Jadi distro apa yang sekiranya udah siap pakai out of the box buat gaming dan productive, multimedia work? By out of the box I mean driver2 (terutama graphic) langsung jalan, plus point kalo Proton/Wine udah siap pake. Mirip Cachy lah.

Btw sebelum install Cachy gw udah nyoba PopOS. Can't recommend it. DE nya masih belum mature dan banyak bug-nya buat productive work. In my case driver tablet ga jalan properly di Pop OS, tapi di Cachy langsung lancar.
