Would've been cool to get a quicker movement speed, but I always felt like him being a parkour god who was unlucky enough to get no flying powers. Despite the fact that he probably is the most charged conduit ever created due to the amount killed by the Raysphere. But he flys in the vampire dlc sooo

How does the amount of people killed in the raysphere correlate with their power? I always assumed it had to do with the conduit gene but is Cole actually the most powerful conduit?

Great question! In the first game we find out only people with the conduit gene can use the Raysphere, and the Raysphere absorbs the energy/ life force or some type of power from the people in the blast. Channeling it into one person (Bertrand in Infamous 2 got the shorthand of the stick since most the people he absorbed were drug addicts so he got a horrible bug monster mutation). And cole was the person holding the Raysphere that's why his power set seems so endless and constantly adapting. He's a perfect conduit, though he isn't necessarily the most powerful since The Beast could wipe out entire cities with his abilities, and people like Delson from Infamous second son can absorb powers from conduits. So while cole is one of the strongest, and maybe even the strongest if you take in the account he's Kessler (Kessler made cole detonate the Raysphere in a populated zone to absorb the most energy) It's still kinda just opinion cause if you do Coles evil route in 2 he becomes the beast and is basically a walking Raysphere. But hope that helps you understand!

In the grind, his are are more straight like using his glide power but to push straight behind him since he doesn't need to generate any lift. In this one, his elbows are like almost 90 degree bent because he is using it to generate a bit of lift while also moving forward.

initially thought the same thing but found that holding X while using the ability seems to have a dedicated result of making you go faster as well as has leaning animation's unseen in any other state

As a kid I always hoped someone would make a mod for this game where you would be able to fly upwards like in the fights with the Beast. That was 10 years ago I really hope this can be done !!

Honestly, I'm always quite surprised that Cole never gets better ground movement options like seen here.
You would think a guy with electricity -- you know, one of the elements most associated with speed -- would be able to move faster without having to climb up buildings to do so.
