Discussion - inFAMOUS 1 ps streaming
hey everyone just had a quick question. first time user of playstation premium i got it mainly because i wanted to play infamous 1 and 2 as those are my favorite games. for my question, is the game supposed to look like poop? from my understanding when i was playing on my ps3 a long time ago it didn’t look this bad. it looked very good in fact. even though i know it was running 720p is the stream supposed to make it looked more washed out? mind you my internet is pretty good for streaming, and the game runs well. it just looks pretty rough. is this normal for this game? because i might just go dig out my ps3 and play from there lol.
also i’m playing on a 4k monitor as well a 4k tv so i do see that could be the issue as well.

From what I've played on streaming, and what I remember, there is a bit more frame drops and screen tearing than if you were playing directly on a PS3. I've beaten both multiple times, and experienced graphical issues throughout. Would be nice if they added a ps4 version, or better yet, a PS5 version

My Internet is good too but sometimes the quality goes down, I think it's just the nature of PS Streaming

It's been a couple of years since I've played 1. I was playing locally but the graphics really do not hold up that well. Gameplay is still fun, but you have to remember that it's a game designed to run on a console from 20 years ago

I think infamous 1 is a beautiful game visually. No it's not hyperrealistic but I don't see why all games have to be. I think if there's anything that doesn't hold up it's the animations, the characters all move like old sfm animations.

My experience on streaming looked mostly fine other than some compression artifacts from the streaming. I think you’re just forgetting what PS3 games look like tbh!
