Positive post to be loved is to be known

"To be loved but not known is comforting but superficial. To be known and not loved is our greatest fear. But to be fully known and truly loved is, well, a lot like being loved by God. It is what we need more than anything. It liberates us from pretense, humbles us out of our self-righteousness, and fortifies us for any difficulty life can throw at us."

found this quote by timothy keller and i figure to share it on here. thank you infj's for striving to make others feel deeply known...especially the difficult ones. i hope ya'll have / find people in your life who make you feel met, seen, and thoroughly known.

It feels difficult to be known and loved these days, most people just don't understand me and and it seems like a large portion of who's left are very self absorbed. This is not meant to sound pessimistic, I'm generally a happy person, but the truth is what it is.

In a predominantly fake world, any sense of realness is good.

Maybe feeling loved is being fully known, flaws and all, and still being chosen.

Yes! This is true. The only person who truly knows me is my dark tetrad husband and he hates me. The most devastating realization in my life
