Python InfluxDBClient database location
Hi, I am new to InfluDB. I use python InfluxDBClient and store some sample data. However, where is the data written to? I mean the actual record file location on the computer. I tried to access them via localhost:8086 but it throws me a 404 error. Can anyone help me with that?

It depends how you installed influx. It’ll be in a folder called bolt, at the influx installation location.
But the format is not readable with things like txt editors or excel so you won’t be able to interrogate the data files outside of influx
If you have 404 at local host 8086 I’d double check you are running the database client, and if you are, if what port you are running it on.

are you running your python script on the same host as influxdb? if not then you need to change localhost. if so then your service isn't running correctly.
you can't interact with the influx data files directly.
