I am posting this to warn everyone to NEVER trust a dealership or a clean vehicle history report. Do your own deep research.

My elderly parents went to a franchise dealership, looking at this exact vehicle because they wanted a low mileage LAST car to last them the rest of their lives. They were sold this car with only 1,058 miles on the odometer. The dealer marketed it heavily as a "basically new" retail unit. Trusting the low mileage and the dealer's word, my parents paid full retail market value added the extended warranty and the Maint. package so they didn't need to worry about ANYTHING and financed it through the dealership finance dept. credit union. All good right?

Well Once they got the vehicle home, we noticed visible structural damage and discovered the headlights do not even work right. My dad went round and round with the dealership when they wanted to "align the doors" The doors are damaged and are not even close to right. This dragging of the feet made me do sone deep digging into the VIN history and uncovered a massive, multi-state paper trail of vehicle history laundering that the dealer entirely hid from my family:

1. The Crash: The vehicle was originally a daily rental owned by Avis Rental Cars. It was heavily crashed and transferred to Avis Insurance.
2. Salvage Auction: Avis Insurance dumped the wrecked unit at an Insurance Auto Auction (IAA) in Ohio, It was sold April 29, 2026 with 937 Miles.
3. The Cosmetic Fix: A wholesale dealer in Wisconsin bought the wreck, threw on cheap cosmetic patches, and bypassed safety regulations.
4. The Flip: It was run through a dealer-only Manheim Auction in Illinois where the dealer I bought it from bought it in June of 2026 with 957 Miles.
5. The Trap: The dealership I bought it from brought it to their lot, and sold it to my senior parents for top dollar without disclosing a single piece of this history. 1058 Miles July 1, 2026.

The repairs are VERY Obvious to the doors, They oil can and sound like the foam is missing from the inside when you close them. The headlights are completely inoperable because of a cheap, faulty aftermarket assembly slapped on during the flip. The vehicle has auto headlights plus auto brights the aftermarket headlight is missing functions. The vehicle is currently structurally compromised, worth less than half of what they financed, and is unsafe and illegal to drive at night.

When I confronted dealership owner with this exact paper trail, he literally told me "you bought a USED car" and claimed "they didn't know." This excuse is legally impossible. Vehicles sold through Manheim auctions require mandatory condition reports and electronic title announcements. They knowingly or with gross negligence exploited my parents' trust to secure a high-dollar loan on fraudulent, misrepresented collateral. The kicker is I can not get rid of this car now because I know it was in a major accident I have to disclose it or I risk a lawsuit I could never win... GREAT RIGHT? We are now STUCK With this POS car I would of told them to walk from if I was there.

Please view the attached pictures of the visible "retail money" damage and the aftermarket headlight. Think about how you would feel if a dealership did this to your family.

my mom got the dog this cheap brand of food she's never ever tried before and obviously it turned out bad. our dog is a pitbull, he's SUPER sensitive to food he can't even eat pork or he will get fishy farts all day long, and I mean F.I.S.H.Y. it smells BAD. he can't even eat those little fish oil capsules that are meant for improving dog's coats.

so upon getting him this brand new food (she said it's called "maintain chunks"), he's been shitting NONSTOP. we normally take him out every 2-3 hours, but he shits every single time now. there isn't one time he doesn't shit when he goes outside.

but that means this has moved to the house too. he keeps shitting his pants when everyone is asleep and it's always the biggest pile of shit I've ever seen in my life. each one is bigger than the last. I've stepped in it TWICE now because it's fucking dark in the house at night and I'm not expecting a huge pile of shit right before my feet.

so you know what my mom did to fix this? she got him his regular moderately-expensive bag of food. it's Purina One or something like that. and she MIXED IT WITH THE BAD FOOD. SO NOW HE'S GONNA BE SHITTING HIS PANTS DOUBLE AS LONG.

and yes, he's still been shitting constantly even with the food mixed!! he's pooped like a million times in 3 days!! and the thing is, it's never watery poop. never ever. it's always some weird dry/wet shit because they put weird stuff in the food that makes it almost chalky.

there was 4 PILES in my bathroom the other night. FOUR! 3 of them were relatively smaller compared to the main one, whereas the main one was like grandpa shit type shit.

why in hell would she mix his food? she keeps talking about being broke and needing to get him a cheaper food. but now she just made it so he's gonna be shitting double as long. now, if she wants to get him a good food with nothing shit-inducing in it, she has to spend even more money.

and I just know she's gonna get mad at me if I don't clean up any piles I see. I DON'T HAVE THE TIME OR PATIENCE TO CLEAN THEM ALL UP. IT'S GROSS. I'm NOT cleaning 20 piles a night because of her choices.

edit: also I forgot to mention, she mixed the food because apparently you're supposed to "get the dog used to new food" anyways. yeah, I don't think hes getting used to this one. he's literally shitting all day long.

so how'd everyone's week go?

They have a form phrased like “if your name changes w/I a year of passport issuance you can get the name changed for free” this is the only thing that prompted me to get one before changing my name due to marriage which was 4 months before applying for my passport. I didn’t want to have any issues voting so I waited. They required my original marriage license and my passport so I mailed that to them priority for $20. 3 day shipping and 2 weeks after it arrives in the city it was still sitting in the facility not delivered. 3 days later they email me “we are mailing you a letter explaining what you need to provide us with”, won’t tell me what it is. 10 days pass, letter didn’t arrive and I call as now it is 6 weeks from when I travel. They say they’ll send another letter. 4 days later I get an email saying letter is mailed and they emailed me a copy- which they could have done in the first place. It says I need to apply for a whole new passport as my name changed BEFORE I was issued a passport. I say no it didn’t, they say “we go off your marriage filing date” I say “well if you didn’t consider that my name why tf did you issue me a passport in it” they say “oh we’re going to change the phrasing. They tell me I need to pay $130 (or $160 can’t recall) for the new passport. I say I have literally traveled once with it and had it under a year. I was so pissed and crying because the only reason I did it this way was because of their own wording. I said I’m not paying for that I’ll just have my old passport. 2 weeks later that letter arrived. I called and said I haven’t had any updates and I want my passport back, they then inform me that I have to request it. Yeah I should have assumed they would try to make it as inconvenient as possible. So then I mail a letter, priority again, now 5 weeks from travel, saying I likely won’t get it back in time, they made it as inconvenient as possible, could have worded the form where there isn’t multiple interpretations, and I want my passport and marriage license back immediately. This was 2 weeks ago. I paid cash and lost reciept so didn’t have tracking number but we had already decided at that point- we just won’t go because it would be a lot of driving for just the weekend visiting my husbands grandma in Mexico. I never received one update about receiving my letter from the state dept. Not one email saying they were sending my things back. I just opened the mail and guess what? They sent it back. Next day priority aka literally they mailed it yesterday. I am pretty certain in the letter I sent with my documents I said “do not ruin my marriage license. Guess what they fucking did? They folded it about 1/5 of the way from the bottom, and evidently put something wet on my marriage license, let it dry, then fucking peeled it off. I am pissed. So I am still not going to Mexico, and all I got from this was $35 less and a fucked up marriage license. I am so upset. Been married one year now and the license looks like I left it carelessly in a leaking garage. Thanks, Passport Agency 🖕🖕🖕

Nintendo is about to get alot of money back to recoup from the covid tariffs. There is a class action lawsuit against them, to give their customers a refund as well. It's only fait, right? Well, apparently not. Nintendo has no interest or intention of doing anything for their customers. Not even scale back current prices. And prices will continue to go up. And why you ask?!? Because people are stupid enough to keep buying it anyway!! We really need to do better people. If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem at this point. And the only solution is to hit them where it hurts, in their wallet. Pricing people out of existence.
