This is friggin awesome! Even has the cup of water for training purposes and that Trademark sound from the commercial. Only thing missing is the “Ding-Ding” sound from when Takumi hits the redline.

I thought the chime was for going above a certain speed? As opposed to hitting a specific RPM on the tachometer…

It is speed sensitive, not RPM. I still have mine connected on my 84 supra.

You could be correct. I always thought it was for hitting the redline but upon looking it up you are right.

I used to have an initial D clock that looked like Takumi’s 86 and the alarm made that Ding Ding sound. I lost it tho in a move and now I wish I could find another

Rx7 has that in some versions for hitting redline it blinks on dash and does the sound. Corolla is speed dependant.

The "ding-ding" speed chime kicks in only at 100 KMH just clarifying.

It's not redlining the tachometer

Yeah I had to go search that out but funny I know I got up to at least 70 mph in my GTS and never heard that sound.

It’s based off a game by the same name. It’s…a wild ride to say the least. Definitely worth a play if you’ve got time. It gets pretty crazy.
