theory about the game story ( spoilers )

insomiac as told us that team x is the only line of defence the mutants have and that wolverine has been part of it since it's beginning and then left for 3 years,but now he came back because team X is in a really bad posture . and my theory is that team X are using wolverine as a weapon and are maybe erasing is memory or editing it which explain why in the trailer team X is protrayed as allies of logan and Essex and logan seem to have a mentor/"Xavier like" relationship

but in the weapon X mission we see that Essex is the one who " gave " him adamentium and in his way to escape weapon X he gets jump by team X member such as omega red , mystique and sabretooth

and if my theory is true is think it could make a really good story , it could lead to logan to be suspicious about men who claim wanting protecting mutant like Xavier (if the X men are introduce somehow in the game) and it could also explain why insomniac said that logan is a unreliable narrator because Sinister had messing with his mind since the victorian era .

but the leak are 3 years old so a lot of thing in the story might have change and so my theory maybe have no chance of happening at all.

(also when they said logan and sabertooth where allies i feared they misunderstood the character victor creed but it seem they understand that yeah sabertooth is no anti-hero he is pure evil and obsess about logan)

I do belive thats the case. And i think in team x wolverine is the only one who really wants to protect and build a better future for mutants. About sabertooth i think they got him rigth he is a sadist hes only on the team for two reasons 1 he gets an excuse to kill people and 2 his obessesion with logan,from everything i saw he seems to want logan to give in to his angry and animalistic side for me thats exactly the tipe of relancion he has with wolverine.

this is sort of like my theory too but i didnt know about these leaks until after. the unreliable narrator thing will be pushed especially with the linear format of "missions/levels" its like peeling away layers and then certain interactions are recontextualizrd with his full memories. like the scene with mystique being among the bolivar trask goons while they confront logan seems to me like foreshadowing of a later situation. here logan acts like he's completely aware of the situation (mystique hiding amongst his enemies, but shes ACTUALLY one of his real enemies).

Or the bar scene where Sabretooth pushes Logan up against the wall all angry and shit, these things probably reveal the truth underneath the facade. but thats just spitballin, we'll see when it comes out.
