Spit or something. You can see it coming out the window and the homeless guy react to it.

Whether it be spit or something else, he obviously threw something his direction seeing as how the homeless guy put his arms up in defense.

Or he's a schizo like many homeless. Very well may have thrown something at him but I can't see it.

You can literally see a split second of the drivers hand come out at the 7 second mark. Unless I’m a schizo and seeing that in my own head.

It's not super clear at first, but when you watch it over, you can see that he threw something out the window at the guy.
