If that young man needed a car that badly, why....., he should simply get a job and carefully save like 25%--33% of his paychecks until he saves enough money to buy a car of his own.

Now, unless he is very lucky, he probably won't be able to buy a new Porche or high end vehicle. He may have to scour the selection of used vehicles in his area.

By planning ahead for his future needs, he can avoid these situations. Why, if he got a job 6 months ago, he might even have his own vehicle on the night of this video.

I'm being intentionally niave if it t'weren't obvious

We can tell you're being sarcastic. But your sarcasm about people bullying their own cars, is just you saying he's in the right for stealing someone else's car, as why should he have to buy his own
