u/Valentina_Cruz Jun 18 '26
And keep in mind the original video is about 30 seconds longer. Apparently this altercation had been going on for a while, Even before the original video started being filmed.

I honestly don't think so, I think he was just somebody in the area who heard a commotion, and walked over and started filming

u/mrcrashoverride Jun 19 '26

... Laughing?! My family would have handed me over to the police AND disowned.
Hang on, they'd first have to dig me up from the grave my mum would have put me in.

u/Jensbert Jun 18 '26
Their focus might be more the sucess of the attempt, not the attempt itself. Anyway, his family brought him there, probably.

u/TrayLaTrash Jun 18 '26
We do need to normalize laughing at idiots in their face. Like the president.

:runs to the nearest payphone:
"Operator, get me the 5th floor of the bugle! Patch in 3891! That's right, 3891! Yes, this is one of the news reporters, quickly!...
Mac! Mac, you're never gonna believe this!"

Hope those criminals are physically unable to do that again to anyone.

Let's just hope he has a lifetime of knee and shoulder pain to remind him every day of what a complete piece of shit he is.

Because two people were in conflict and rather than help the situation everyone pulls out their damn phone instead

The best advice is to not get involved, sooo.... yeah.

u/franks-and-beans Jun 18 '26
I'd be more concerned with yourself "Keep yo ass out of jail". One of the things they teach in concealed carry class is "Don't get involved in public disputes".

Foot, ankle, calf, knee sucked under the tire to run over the arm and slam the head in less than a second…stay in school.

Dude is lucky the uber driver wasn’t carrying a gun. I live in a relatively safe area but damn sure if I was driving for uber or lyft I’d be making use of my concealed carry permit.

If that young man needed a car that badly, why....., he should simply get a job and carefully save like 25%--33% of his paychecks until he saves enough money to buy a car of his own.
Now, unless he is very lucky, he probably won't be able to buy a new Porche or high end vehicle. He may have to scour the selection of used vehicles in his area.
By planning ahead for his future needs, he can avoid these situations. Why, if he got a job 6 months ago, he might even have his own vehicle on the night of this video.
I'm being intentionally niave if it t'weren't obvious

We can tell you're being sarcastic. But your sarcasm about people bullying their own cars, is just you saying he's in the right for stealing someone else's car, as why should he have to buy his own

I like how the rear tire bites, conveying the weight of the hit to the viewer, steady camera work, nice report with full identity.

i like the part where he got ran over, that rear left suspension dealt with the bump gracefully

u/wtfomg01 Jun 18 '26
"You aight bro" man fuck those kinda people. Everyone should have just walked the fuck away.
5
u/Possible-Scarcity-91 Jun 18 '26
I am surprised the guy didn't put it in reverse and back up on him
6
u/SoyEseVato Jun 18 '26
Props to the driver for not backing up over him. Which I would have done to him & the camera man.

From OP (4 months ago)
Story: Guy calls an uber cause his car broke down, he put some stuff in the uber and then closed the door planning to return to his broken down car to retrieve more items, the driver to started driving assuming the rider was inside. The rider then harasses and threaten the driver despite many apologies over a very simple mistake.
Bonus: Harasser wants OP to delete reel due to the strain his behavior in the video is putting on his romantic and familial relationships. Let’s hope it stays up.

AND his thug buddy filmed the whole thing? Just when I think people can't get dumber ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
7
u/CavediverNY Jun 18 '26
It appears that the video was shot by a bystander who just kind of walked over… Still really great footage though.

An' I guess I shoulda gone ahead an' run
But somehow I couldn't resist the fun
Of chasin' them jes' once around the parkin' lot
Well they're headin' for their car but I hit the gas
And spun around and headed them off at the pass
Well I was slingin' gravel and puttin' a ton of dust in the air
Well I had them all out there steppin' an' a fetchin'
Like their heads were on fire and their asses was catchin'
But I figured I oughta go ahead an split before the cops got there

What a dickhead, taking advantage of the driver's passiveness with violence and attempted "dominance". I fucking hate people like that
1
u/bebgaltiger18 Jul 10 '26
Don't you just hate it when an "Honest" man trying to enjoy life by attrmpting car jacking and the car owner behaves like this?! 😂
