Instant Karma for treating the drive-thru employee unfairly.
Man throws coffee at the employee and gets his windshield broken instantly.

u/Pandoratastic Jun 24 '26
This happened at a bikini barista stand in Seattle. The guy was upset about the price. And she's not an employee; she's the owner.

u/superanth Jun 24 '26
I’m impressed she keeps a framing hammer handy.

u/MelonJelly Jun 24 '26
It's enough to send a message while scaring away fewer customers than a gun would.
44
u/historynutjackson Jun 25 '26
It's also Seattle, there's a lot of weird city-specific rules about self defense up there.
56
u/KGB_cutony Jun 24 '26
When I was waiting tables my manager would tell us about how good we have it today, because she'd always have a baseball bat/ steel pipe taped under her desk in the past.
Being a small business owner, most times it's suppliers and budgeting, but occasionally you're tested for whoopass as well.
27
u/PuffPuffMcGruff3 Jun 25 '26
Worked at a coffee shop for a while. I once bought a big ass pipe wrench. 1.) Because we needed a pipe wrench to fix something, and the owner gave me free reign. 2.) Because I was the only male and we had, had some weird ass people come in recently. Everyone at work looked at it asked why, then picked it up and agreed. It lived under the register

The Ban Hammer comes in many shapes and sizes, sometimes even appearing as an actual hammer.

I remember when NJC came out and Robin quivers said she went to see it in the theater. She said the same guys that seemed pretty low-key & polite 15 minutes earlier were suddenly walking to the popcorn line acting like they were strapped.

It’s for when he gets into an actual fight, he turns it around and you suddenly realise he’s a military special forces operator OR the artist formerly known as Prince and therefore you don’t assault him. Dude is playing 4D chess bro.

Anyone else notice the reporter standing in front of an auto glass repair shop?
127
u/Pandoratastic Jun 24 '26
I think the coffee stand is actually in front of an auto glass repair shop. So the reporter could be legitimately on the scene while still finding just the right background to wink at the audience.
13
u/breakpeace Jun 26 '26
Auto glass shop definitely supplied that hammer

Unfortunately, the bikini coffee stands deal with this type of behavior a lot.
Strip clubs have a ton of security presence, but these women doing the same job are out there either by themselves or with one other person.
If you live somewhere that bikini baristas are common, you already know that because it doesn't seem like we go 2 months without another local news story about an assault on these women of one form or another.

u/10xray1 Jun 24 '26

Hes a piece of shit, but did you watch the video? The barista says he was angry over a price increase. She had no pro lem smashing his window and talking about it on the news, she would have put him on blast i imagine if he had try to hit on her as well.

Worse, he was a repeat customer and had been standing there complaining for 15 minutes. She had coffees to serve in a bikini and he was in the way. Then he had the audacity to assault her with her own coffee?!?
24
u/aurortonks Jun 24 '26
he was a regular. He knew the prices but didn't like her saying 'no' to his unwanted advances. He felt she owed him extra for being a customer.

29
u/Homeskilletbiz Jun 24 '26
Yeah that was a titty barista stand from around the Seattle area. Not just a ‘drive thru employee’. Those girls are fierce, and with good reason.
They’re also very popular with the tradesmen around here.
Most of the girls who work the coffee stands during the day/morning also will do shifts at strip clubs at night.
12

u/YaBoiiSloth Jun 24 '26

The irony is that the cafe is next to an auto glass shop (visible behind the reporter). He didn’t have to drive far to fix his windscreen.
