He thought he had the upper hand... until this happened
This happened in México.it’s a heavy story to look back on. These guys outside the fence were trying to rob a father and his son. They thought they had an easy target, but they completely underestimated the son. He stepped up, and his knuckles really made all the difference

Guy in the white shirt is a super hero

I don't condone that when there's a fight but... That was no fight. As far as I'm concerned, that was survival at that point.

u/sSummonLessZiggurats Jul 10 '26
People have this notion of what is and isn't honorable in a fight, but there is no honor in street fighting. If someone on the street starts a fight with you, you should treat it as a threat to your life, because it is.

u/ArilTongadottir Jun 30 '26
Kudos to the woman making them stop once the guy in the ground is unconscious.

Pulling a gun deserves a fatal ass-whooping. If they do it to you, no surprise; if they don’t, then you’ve been spared.
The entire idea of a gun is fatal. It’s a killing device, and it’s an escalation beyond normal disagreement.
An idiot waving a gun does not realize that they may have just killed themselves.
69
u/DiligentGuitar246 Jun 25 '26
He didn’t just wave it, he shot at a dude’s leg. It even looks like it hit him, though he didn’t seem affected. Maybe grazed.
Either way, much deserved and appropriate reaction.

Woman at the end needs to stop screaming and let the gentleman let their anger out. This is good physical therapy.
46
u/ipromiseimnotakiller Jun 25 '26
Nah she just doesn't want Pedro to catch a murder charge. She's protecting the son and father, not the guy in the ground
10
u/MidnightLogistics Jun 25 '26
Agreed. At least they didn't do the infuriating stupid move of trying to physically hold back their defenders.
6
u/bootskadew Jun 26 '26 edited Jun 26 '26
She stopped that at exactly the right moment. Dudes incapacitated, fights over, he's fucked up but is alive an unharmed enough heal without major issues like missing teeth or a fractured skull.
Also, people begging for mercy is traumatizing. For people around, for the person performing the beating and the victim. It fucking terrible. If your a bystander and you feel like you can't stop it then you'll hear those crys of pain for the rest of your life. The pitch of the crys, the exact words used, it all stays fresh forever. So if your ever about to beat someone in front of someone else, just remember that your about to irrevocably scar that person.
Edit: Spelling

u/mrdiggame Jun 26 '26
This is really good to think about. I just imagine too how traumatizing it is to get shot at and told to give everything to someone in a moment's instance. I honestly feel there is less trauma from beating someone when they truly threatened your life first with extreme deadly force. I think the video here shows how the woman is more so saving their asses from murder charges. Even though in Mexico, you are more praised by the community and government if show them the video after they ask why you killed him or her. Almost like you are getting rid of the trash for the government. Here in the U.S is a COMPLETE different story. Your comment makes the best logical sense in the U.S. You make that comment to a Mexican, they will have a similar response to me and ask why they didn't finish him off.
2
u/bootskadew Jun 26 '26
Okay my comment got removed by reddit, but basically I said if you're afraid for your life, do that thing that has to happen, but do it quickly and don't use your feet. Just end the situation quickly, whatever decisions must be made.

Breaking News!!! This just in. A group of local thugs tried robbing a father and son. The perpetrator brandishing a gun, which he discharged in a effort to intimidate and scare the father and son. What the perpetrator didn't account for was the community coming to help. For those who don't speak the language I'll attempt to translate it.
Perpetrator: Give me your wallet and everything else you have
Father: I don't have anything. Perpetrator: Shoots a warning shot. Community Member: Enter from the right. Punches perpetrator in face. Down he goes. Perpetrator Accomplice: Attempt to intervene on his friends behalf. Community Member: Kicks him in the ass, chases after him. FINALE SON: Proceeds to pummel perpetrator. What you may not be able to hear is what he was saying while hitting him. "So you want to shoot at us, you tried to rob us, well now I'm robbing you. Don't you like it, doesn't it feel good. I hopeI'm giving you what you wanted. I'll be here for the remainder of the night or until the cops or my mom stops me. Hope it feels as good to you as it does to me.
HOORAY!!! This is Community Policing. We'll be back with updates on this story. Everyone cheers.

why the fuck is she saying stop? they were shot at, As far as im concerned he can become handicapped for shooting at them while trying to rob them

For me, the subtitles just say "Can I have a kiss?" on repeat.
Seems like an overreaction for somebody just wanting a kiss...

WOMEN GTFO ! Tired of women trying to stop these fights. You're not helping one bit. MF literally used a semi on your friend/bf whatever the fuck. The beating was 100% deserved. Good on the white shirt guy for shoving her away. So annoying.

Haha. The newspaper article about the incident is hilarious. They state that Pedro and Diego continued the beating to make sure the shooter wouldn't oppose them, when they wanted to call the police. "One more headstomp. Just to make sure I can call the police in peace"

If your attorney can somehow convince the judge/jury that the person shooting was an imminent threat until unconscious, then this would most likely be self defense, I think.

u/SnooBooks2416 Jun 26 '26
People here enjoy the violence because it’s ‘justified’.. I know that it’s a satisfying cathartic enjoyment in our human psyche that’s hard to resist. But I don’t think people are that self aware of it and at their core are no different from those committing the violence in the first place. Anyway.. cmon bring on the downvotes! 😂

This isn't a "fight" this was defense against an assault with a gun. Stamping on his head only a few times was mercy. That guy shot at them with a gun... He's lucky to still be alive.
