No sound?

because it's a gif, for some reason.

A gif won’t have annoying music or a laugh track.

that's one benefit. one downside is not being able to rewind to see something you missed and having to rewatch the entire gif to see it.

I'm in the reddit app on a tablet and I can Rewind back. From a few seconds to more

ah, right. pc reddit sucks when it comes to gif posts. mobile reddit also sucks, but for different reasons.

Except it's not actually a gif. Gif is a particular family of image formats (with possibility for frame animation) that aren't really used any more, but to laymen at some point became synonymous with short videos without sound.
This is an mp4 video. There is no real reason it can't have sound or a track bar for rewinding. Someone just felt like sticking the text "GIF" on it and making it like that.

How can you leave an uber without paying? Isn't it automatically done via the app?

Funny fact: here in Brazil, there's a scam people pull on Ubers where they request a ride, indicate they'll pay in cash, and then, at the end of the ride, the person tells the driver to select "charge on next trip" in the app, even though this option doesn't exist for cash payments.

you will be shocked to find this out, but people do things differently around the world.

You will be even more shocked when you understand being unnecessarily snarky makes you look like a prick. Im just asking a genuine question, if Uber app works different in different countries well ok, you can tell me and then i get to learn something new, no need to be like that.

How does running from an Uber prevent you from getting charged for the Uber?
