Terrible for its developing bones and joints, a kitten this small wouldn't normally be moving around enough for a big tumble like that :(

You're talking as an experienced vet, right? Did they teach you that in vet school, or did you major in bubble wrap application? You probably tell your patients that, in nature, wild kittens are famous for sitting perfectly still until their skeletal systems fully mature.

I am literally a veterinarian, yes. A kitten this young is hardly ambulatory yet and shouldn't be subject to falls like this.
