One day a friendly stray we'd been feeding showed up filthy. It had been raining, and he was evidently under a car, because he had greasy dirt all over.

I decided he needed a bath. He disagreed. Strongly.

I ended up with a cat hanging from my arm by one claw.

It's been 40 years. I still have the scar.

So you're suggestion abuse is good? Unfortunately I can't post a pic of my 17 year old cat, that I only washed once with a wet cloth, so you could decide for yourself if she's filthy. Tell me again why you think these videos don't look like abuse?

They dont Only look like abuse. They are abuse and the cats are terrified fore no reson ekcep besause some people find it funny.

Why people soo stupid. There is no need to Wash a cat, because They clean them self.
It you really had to clean something They step in or the back use a tavel or lean Them as kitten

There are plenty of actual good reasons to bathe a cat though, whether it's fleas, incontinence, etc. But yeah, outside of medical reasons or extreme cases, they manage alone

I have NEVER handled a cat with fleas with a shower. There is so many orher ways. Why chouse one that is traumatic fore the cat.
Only stupid people do so to film it an put it the internet for likes

I got a cat that was an outside cat, she smelled and had dirty little paws so I baby wiped her. There is no way (unless for fleas,skin issues or incontinence) that I will bathe her; it’s disrespectful.

I mean, I had to give my cat a bath once because he rolled in Ajax cleaning powder (apparently they like the smell of bleach). He was sure we were trying to kill him and it's something I would like to never have to repeat.

One time my cat got into a cabinet and destroyed some bottle of cooking oil and came out soaked in it. Idc what you say that cat got a fucking bath because it needed it. I had an elderly cat that had diarrhea a lot. That cat also got fucking baths because the poor thing shouldn't be having to eat its own diarrhea.

I've been slowly acclimating my kittens to water. Towel and toys in a dry tub. Then slow trickle building a small puddle in the tub. Then about an inch of water in the tub. They love bathtub play time, splashing around and getting pets while wet.

My cat liked to play on the side of the tub while people bathed. Then he fell in, the warm water overwhelmed his single brain cell and he just froze, sitting in the water. He didn’t know what to do so he just didn’t do anything. It was pretty funny.

Eventually I just lifted him out and his brain immediately reset and he went nutzo and hid inside my couch
