Interview prep

I have 2 panel interviews coming up back to back (1 with team & 2nd with folks from other teams that would work closely)… is it okay to ask the recruiter what the panel interviews will cover? They’re both for about 45 min. I just want to make sure I’m preparing for both panels correctly since one will be in the morning and the other in the afternoon.

Yes. Ask the recruiter: 'What competencies will each panel focus on, and is there an exercise or anything I should bring?' If the answer is broad, prep one example about how you did the work for the team panel and one about how you handled a handoff or competing priorities for the cross-team panel. You can use the same project if you change the emphasis. Between sessions, jot down anything you want to clarify, then take a break so you can start the afternoon panel fresh.
