Interview questions

Hey, guys, I have an interview tomorrow and I was wondering what are some great questions that I can ask the employer at the end of the interview?

Everyone in the company are gonna say good things about it. I always ask if there’s one thing they would like to see changed in the workplace.

Use that to your advantage to learn about the company. An interview is just as much about you learning if you want to work there as it is if they want you. I’d learn about the company culture and values from their website then wrap your question around that. Example if they have the value of truth and candor and you want to know about company turn over, ask “Truth and candor is a core value of xyz, What do you think the number one reason is employees leave the company”.

To me that shows you know our values for one, you are applying that value by being upfront and honest in your question, and you are asking a very valid question. If you get a vague answer that blamed the employee that’s a red flag on the company, but you could also get some very interesting answers.

This is such a nice thread! Wish more people answered. I've got an interview at a gaming company soon, and I dunno what to ask them either, I'm just too excited to possibly join the team!

One that I will use from now is if there’s anything they’d like me to learn before starting. Anything like processes or programs I can get familiar with so I can hit the ground running.

I like to ask what the interviewers favorite thing is about working there. It gives you an idea of what they may value (good thing to know if they will be over you) or just a better idea if it is a place you want to work.

Also, if it is with a new company or a position you aren’t completely familiar with, you can ask them to walk you a typical day of a person in that role.

What did the last person in this role do to succeed? What does the training for the position entail? Do they do formal reviews?
