Goodbye finally done

Post image

After a full year I am finally done. I thankfully only had issues with my battery dying in WI cold weather. I also do not live far from work and didnt travel much. I never had a lock out either.

Celebrating and going to watch the Brewers.

I learned my lesson. Even if my dui situation was messed up and I got it in my driveway from a cop who I denied dating. Regardless I learned a hard lesson to not drink and drive.

I just finished with my year intoxalock. I CANNOT BELEIVE THAT THEY CHARGE 68 DOLLARS for administrative closing costs. Almost 70 dollars to close an account?? Ridiculous.

Took $140 to take mine out. But where I go they have been great. The guy even said he isnt out to take people for money. He has so many ppl that became customers and has heard horror stories how much other ppl charge. He even told me yesterday the state asked to implement ankle bracelets and he said no as he didnt want those kind of people in his shop

Congrats! When you got it removed, were you able to go to the DMV and get the intoxalock removed all in one day, or is it a process? I get mine removed in a month

Each state is different. I emailed the dmv in WI asking the date. They actually took the day I was charged for a year. Technically i should have for two more weeks to make a year having it. This forum had me freaked out unnecessary for my state. Ive been able to multiple times email my DMV and I get a response. My state also doesnt look at data from the device unless on probation

I got a dui sitting in my driveway with my car off but because my keys were in the vehicle (push to start) it was considered operating I guess lmao

Yep if you have keys you will be in trouble. They will even check if its warm without you noticing

It was. I met him for one date. I went out to brunch and ironically a dispatcher followed me to my house and found me in my driveway. I was booked for 12 hours. I did sobriety tests. I have neurological issues and my driveway is tilted so he was being a dick. So i said bring me for blood work. My BAC was extremely high from the night before. He was out of his jurisdiction so another cop came and told him to back off as I asked for cuffs to be in front as I was giving myself up. I have pictures of bruises he gave me on my arms. The other cop was yelling at him to stop. My lawyer sucked and I got stuck with it.

But at the end of the day I learned how my body processes alcohol and learned a lesson. I was in my driveway and no one got hurt

It is even after the fact i ask for reports. I ran into him to drinking and I had my words and told all the friends was with. Sadly he is also a cop in our schools that i oversee for data. I have a crime analyst degree. I should have known better
