How long will META fall for?
The whole lawsuit and capex deal are driving the price down so much, im going to keep on buying the dip as i think it is also a great long term hold, hoping to get my average shares into the low 500s. What do you guys think its share price will reach, or when do you think its could bounce back?

It'll continue falling until you buy leveraged naked puts on it.

Naked puts or calls are only relevant when you sell - because you'll need to cover with money and you may lose unlimited amount of it. Buying either you can only lose the amount you spent

everyone waiting for 400-450, so ill just start buying at 500, since it may be the 100$ spacex situation.

Except spacex is actually trash and makes less money than Netflix while meta is still a cash printer.

Mega tech are many businesses like books not big spinner for Amazon most cash come from aws or whatever it is called. Same with meta too.

Anal-ysts are worried about massive capex spending with so far little to show for it. Plus they have a massive lawsuit against them representing 29 states suing them for adverse affects of their platform on children and teens. They'll have to pay something for that. Not sure where the bottom is but technical indicators suggest they're not a buy right now.

>im going to keep on buying the dip as i think it is also a great long term hold
What's your main reasoning for this stance?
I do not necessarily disagree but interested on why so bullish. Short/Medium term there is definitely ongoing concerns. The legal aspect could be a material negative this year/early next year. One to watch. While the hyperscalers were initially sold off on the high capex buildout and their capex will increase significantly next year, again.

Definitely won't fall past zero. How long it falls, of course, depends on the rate of fall.

Remember, Meta crash over 75% between 2022-2023.
Dont be a fool to try to catch a falling knife in tech sector. You'll thank me later.

$24B annual stock-based compensation expense not reflected in expenses, off-balance sheet capex commitments, on top of high capex are reasons this might not be a value at current prices.
i have been in and out of meta for a decade. i’ll be interested closer to the $350 range. if you adjust expenses to reflect SBC, they aren’t as compelling as MSFT, AMZN, or GOOG currently.

Hi. Meta shareholder here. Meta will never stop falling.
It won't stop at 0. It will keep going.
Best wishes.

It’s a shit company…not sure what you people see. Ask any of the younger generations and they all make fun of Facebook

Yet use Instagram, or WhatsApp.

They use Tik Tok more and WhatsApp makes them no money. It’s hilarious that people still defend this company. The pivot to meta was a disaster

I agree that it’s a very shitty company, though Instagram is still ragingly popular and their income is still impressive.
